Hier trifft die Vergangenheit auf die Gegenwart mit einer großartigen Ausgewogenheit von Vintage-Ambiente und Gemütlichkeit, aber mit einem frischen Blick auf die Gastfreundschaft. Great location with a great view! We brought our bikes and never used our vehicle the entire 4 days we were there. When we were not out and about, the rental was a great place to relax. Highly recommended!

Beds were not great, very loud and frame was very wobbly. No air conditioning and one portable fan did not work so during Newport’s heat wave it was pretty uncomfortable. Did see 3 roaches and the bathroom is very cramped. Not comfortable to use at all. Show curtain was too short and flooded the bathroom with every shower. Will not be a repeat visitor to this property. However location is very nice. 3 out of 5 stars

I booked this for a month while out in the area for work. It was so nice to come home at the end of the day to the beautiful view of the bay. My favorite was sitting in the recliner by the huge bay window watching the rowers and little sail boats. Conveniently located to the beach and great food. Very responsive to questions.

Pictures were very misleading! Both bathroom (tiny) and Kitchen (also very small) are in need of serious updating. Repainting would also be a plus , perhaps with walls in the color of sage or gray.Only two toilet paper rolls were available. There were no blankets of any kind on the couch or in either bedroom and it got cold at night.When we first arrived it smelled stail and I also had to wash the skillets, plates and glasses before I felt safe they were clean enough to safely use.

This listing could not have been further from the photos and the reviews. The place was extremely old and crusty. The couch looked like a cat scratched all over it. The bathroom was so small and dingy. The beds felt like water beds… so uncomfortable. The worst part of all was the fact that there was NO AC. I would have never booked this had I paid more attention to this part of the listing. We got there and it was a cloud of heat. Even after opening the windows and running fans, it didn’t get better. I complained to Beach View Rentals and they said we could rent fans, which is so absurd considering we paid 1500 for 2 nights here. Thank god we weren’t there very much because we wanted to leave the very next day and go somewhere else. This was a 0/5 stay and I’d ask for some type of refund but I understand this is a business and it did put roofs over our head during our time there but truly a bummer. Overall it was priced way too high and the worst rental I’ve ever stayed in. The place needs to be majorly updated if they’re going to charge that much and NEEDS AC. You guys also need to let people know there will be others living below us. It was alarming to find someone washing clothes in the garage late at night when we got back home.

Cute Old Balboa

Clean, quaint, old Balboa property. Great location, bay view, quiet neighborhood. Close to swimming beach.

Great location

We loved this intimate Newport Beach gem. The views of the bay were beautiful. There is a private beach across The street that my 6 year old daughter loved playing at. Host had great communication -We will be back again!

Great mini vaca

My wife and I decided to get away to Newport Beach for a few days. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy with how the entire time went, thanks to VRBO and BeChviee rentals. Their emails were on point both before and after the stay. Super easy to understand how to check in and check out. A.

We love Newport Beach

Small family of five. The nightly rate was very competitive with other rentals. Check in was super easy. Neighborhood was quiet. Having a small kitchen was ideal for us. We would definitely stay here again.

comfortable and great location

This property is within walking distance to so many great amenities - restaurants, beach / boardwalk, Balboa island and a playground on the beach :) We didn't need to use the car very much, because everything is so close! Neighborhood beach is right across the street from the property. It was a slam dunk neighborhood and community.

Very Good Place to Tent

Good upgrade to an old house, quaint and comfortable. The garage, rate, view, and location are really wonderful. Having rented many times on the peninsula over the years its nice to not have to negotiate an alley. It feels like a neighborhood. Glad we chose this place.
