Home Truths:
- Guests may walk up to the picnic table on the dock, but do not have access to the boat dock.
- Stays over 30 nights require mid-cleanings.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note that this is a five-unit building, and this unit is located on the upper level with water-facing views.
- Please note: This unit can experience noticeable airplane noise due to air traffic over the harbor.
- Please note that there is no A/C; however, large fans are provided. For better airflow, we recommend placing the fans near the windows to help circulate cool air indoors.
- Please note that cell reception may be limited in this area. To stay connected, join the WiFi network provided and enable WiFi calling on your phone.

Parking Details:
- No designated parking.
- There is plenty of free street parking around, but please watch and adhere to street cleaning restrictions, which prohibit parking in some areas on Monday mornings and others on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Parking can be very difficult to find during the summer and holidays.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Amazing stay!

Property was immaculate with well stocked kitchen and extras ( bath towels, beach towels, toiletries). Great view and enjoyable peace eating on the deck and/or eating on the private dock. This property was very comfortable for 4 adults. We didn't need to communicate with host since everything was so well prepared. Great location to access many activities and the beach. Garage parking is small but we took our smaller Outlook which fit perfectly and we didn’t have to search for parking. We will definitely be back for another enjoyable stay!!

Very clean and great location

We enjoyed our stay when we checked in we had a beautiful view right on the harbor were able to watch the boats come and go, and it was actually a very quiet area with just some small groups or couples walking by from time to time the property is spotless, and the people are great to work with. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view in this very comfortable condo overlooking the bay. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the boats. The host was easy to get in touch with for questions, allowed us to check in early and even provided a bottle of wine, water and chocolates, a thoughtful touch. Great unit on the bayside of the peninsula!

Cute upstairs unit with a great view and a private balcony. Nice cooling breeze and great location, walking distance to The Fun Zone and restaurants/shopping. We usually stay on Balboa Island but this was a wonderful spot too and we're glad we tried the peninsula! Kathy was a wonderful host and very accomodating. Unit was very clean and nicely appointed. Fantastic beach cottage with gorgeous view

We spent 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so charming, sparkling clean and well-equiped with everything you might need including a thoughtful welcome gift of wine, sparkling water and chocolates. The location is great— it’s quiet and away from the crowds but an easy 5 minute walk to the tourist zone and ferry to Balboa Island. Having a designated parking space in the garage was very handy since street parking is challenging. The host was friendly and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our vist and highly recommend this unit.

Amazing location!

The highlight of this rental is the balcony overlooking the harbor. We loved watching the boats, people and wildlife. The location is within walking distance of a public dock, the fun zone, the Balboa Island Ferry, the fishing pier, and many restaurants. We loved Mint Leaf, Malibu Farms and the Lighthouse. The kitchen needs a bit of TLC, but the bathrooms were updated and the entire home was nicely appointed. We brought our SUPs and enjoyed launching them off the private dock, so easy! Kathy was very responsive and helpful.
