Escape to Casa Farol, a beautifully furnished 4-bedroom villa located near the stunning Praia Dona Ana beach and the iconic Ponte de Piedade lighthouse. Villa Highlights

Spacious Living Area: The open-plan lounge and dining room feature comfortable seating, satellite TV (with BBC, ITV, and UK Sports channels). Sliding patio doors lead to the covered terrace and pool area.

Fully Equipped Kitchen: Includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and all essential utensils. A back door opens to the outdoor BBQ area and ping-pong table.

Outdoor Living: The 10x5 meter freeform pool, surrounded by sunbathing terraces with 8 sunbeds, is perfect for relaxation. The shaded terrace features dining furniture for al fresco meals, and the built-in BBQ adds to the outdoor experience. Pool heating is available for an extra charge.

Ideal family villa

An excellent stay with grown up children and their partners. The accommodation and patio/pool area were perfect for 7 of us. Walking distance from the hustle and bustle of old town Lagos but also a very cheap taxi ride home if you don’t want to walk back uphill. The family enjoyed the proximity to the boardwalk along the coast for their morning runs. We all had a fabulous time.

Lovely villa in a quiet location within walking distance of beaches

The property was in a very quiet location within walking distances to beaches & Lagos. It was spacious & well equipped. The pool was bigger than expected and it was handy having the bbq area. The check in process ran very smoothly, as did the airport transfer which was arranged though the managing agents.

The most perfect week.

We had the most wonderful week in Casa Farol. The villa has everything you need. Excellent pool & outdoor area & perfectly comfortable inside. A great location to stroll into Lagos in the evening & early morning walks along the Ponta da Piedade are stunning. Highly recommend.

Lovely property and stay

The villa was lovely and we had a great time. It is a bit tired, couple of broken draws, however we really enjoyed it - pool, BBQ, location, parking, spacious etc. The main issue I would say is the lack of communication with the agent as we must have replied a number of times to emails after booking and never got a response and then the same when we were there. A number of messages, one about the maid service had not been provided, and never got a reply. We did love it there though and it would suit a family really well.

Mainly good - couple of improvements needed.

Good house, agency and cleaning excellent but couple of pool issues that weren’t ever really resolved. House nice, very comfortable but oven needs updating as not man enough for the property and beware the patio tiles when wet which was frequent ax right next to pool. Lots of big building projects happening very close by which wasn’t a huge problem bug which wd should have been made aware of Otherwise all fine and a most enjoyable stay - checks goid and cleanjng staff excellent.

Close enough to town, short walk to great views

Property is located about a little over 1.5 km from town center (longer if you choose the scenic boardwalk). It is about 300 m from the entrance to Ponta da Piedade. All in it is well equipped and nice for a holiday get away. The owners/manager communicated excellently and were very responsive to all requests. If you are ok with walking alot (our preference) on holiday it is a great location. If you need to be close walking distance to everything you may not like the property. There is off street parking and there is parking lots, spaces, and a garage in town but I don't know how busy those areas would be over the summer. We did not use the pool as the outdoor temperatures were about 15-18 C. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Only recommendation to management would be to leave an extra kitchen garbage bag or two for renters.

Spacious Villa

We dealt with Algarve Accommodation, who were very good, excellent communication. The villa comfortably accommodated the 8 of us (6 adults, 2 children). Plenty of utensils, chairs etc. Set in a very quiet area, well away from the bustle of Lagos. The walk to and from town in the August heat was a little too much but lovely coastal walk with accessible, natural beaches very nearby. We all agreed the villa does really need some TLC. Pool area looking very sad, windows could do with upgrade etc. Also disappointing we had to pay 40 Euros to hire a travlecot for the week. After all, the child already is a paying customer and yet he had to pay extra for his own bed. Very unfair and unreasonable. We had lots of fun and an enjoyable stay but improvements needed.

Lovely location

Casa Farol is in a great location. The villa is pleasant but is looking a little tired. Bedrooms are all a good size. Villa is advertised for 8 people but can only seat 6 at the dining table and we were 7. The kitchen was not suitably equipped. The oven seems to be quite old and extremely inefficient with only one shelf. I had to go buy baking trays. One burner on the stove top did not work. The pool is lovely and my grandchildren loved it, but it was expensive to heat -€200 per week. My summary would be.... Nice villa in need of some TLC in a lovely location. Fix the things I have mentioned and I would award 5 stars but as it stands I would give it 3.5 stars.

Thank you for your review, despite the problems you have mentioned we hope you enjoyed your stay. For clarity with any future guests, we have replaced the dining room chairs this season as a couple of the older ones were broken, as these are larger bucket style chairs we only purchased 6 but we also purchased a new kitchen table with 2 chairs that can be used as extra in the dining room. There is also an outside dining table with 8 chairs. We will look into the hob we were not aware one of the rings isn't working we will get this looked into and also see if we can get an extra shelf in the oven. Pool heating is expensive but only covers the electricity costs to run it, its quite a large pool. Thank you from the team at Algarve Accommodation Agency.

Schönes Haus mit tollem Pool

Gut ausgestattetes Haus mit sehr schönem Pool und hochwertigen Gartenmöbeln. Nahe der Praia Piedade, Praia Camillo war bei uns gesperrt, Praia do Canavial ist nach ca. 15 Min. erreichbar. Schöne kleine Bucht. Die Stadt erreicht man nach 20 Min. In der näheren Umgebung Bautätigkeit.

Toller Standort, schöne Villa

Tolles Haus mit neuer, moderner Küche, tollem Pool. Die Betten sind super, das Mobiliar könnte modernisiert werden, ist aber völlig ausreichend. Leider muss die Poolheizung extra bezahlt werden. Das haus ist fußläufig gelegen am Ponta da Piedade und tollen Stränden. Man kann zu Fuß nach Lagos laufen, es ist aber gerade mit Kindern eine ganz schön weite Strecke. Es gibt aber auch gute Restaurants in der Nähe.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Es waren schöne Ferien obwohl ein Bett etwas umgemütlich war, da das Gestell immer gequitscht hat. Und der Wind am Abend war etwas störend. Das Haus sonst war tiptop. Gute Ausstattung und genügend Platz bei 6 Personen. Das Meer ist tatsächlich nur 10min. entfernt und es hat schöne Buchten.

Tivemos uma boa estadia retirando a parte de que ficamos sem luz uma noite e nao conseguimos ver TV em canais portugueses. Aconselhava a equiparem a casa com mais utensilios de cozinha. Falta muita coisa essencial. A casa em si tem boas condicoes, a piscina é optima e é perto das praias.

Sunsets and Early Morinng Walks

The villa is located in a quite area (although some large developments are underway) with easy access to Praia Dona Anna beach (10minute walk) and Praia Do Camillo ( 5 minute walk). The villa is spacious and as a group of 7 adults and a baby we found the villa very comfortable. The pool is fantastic, bbq a must and the varanda is great for wining and dining. Recently they have installed a network of clifftop boardwalks which are great for a stroll and easy walking if you have pushchairs. Lagos town centre is approximately 25 minute walk or an easy drive with plenty of free parking behind the marina. Or an Uber if you have the app. Enjoy!

Perfect layout for an extended family of adults - plenty of privacy (and bathrooms) as well as lovely shared spaces. Heated pool, sun terrace and location all wonderful.

A experiência foi positiva e foi do agrado de todos. No entanto, tenho duas coisas a realçar, que poderiam ser melhoradas: a internet é muito fraca e os filtros da piscina não devem funcionar bem porque acumulava sempre muita sujidade.
