CASA AURORA
PRIVATE 3 BEDROOM VILLA (FULLY LEGAL AND REGISTERED)
Perfect for family holidays, this
private villa situated on the stunning Moraira to Calpe coast, south facing with sun all day around the pool. Just a short walk from popular beaches (there are many along the coast, 84 with blue flag status). The town of Calpe with shops and other activities is only 4km away. The town of Moraira is just 6km along the coast.
The villa is located in a quiet road of just 8 houses with views of the mountains behind, it is a very sort after quiet area with friendly neighbours. A lot of love and care has gone into creating this wonderful holiday villa with no expense spared in order to give our guests the comfort they deserve.
The villa is all on one level in a flat garden with private parking and just 3 steps to the front door.
This is a nicely furnished, light and airy villa (FULLY AIRCONDITIONED WITH LED LIGHTING FITTED THROUGHOUT) has 1 double bedroom, 2 twin double bedrooms, plus a travel cot and highchair provided FREE OF CHARGE, TOTAL PERSONS 6.
The bedrooms can be changed to 2 doubles and 1 twin room if you prefer. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes.
A spacious nicely furnished 7m X 4m lounge, with comfortable seating, a large flat screen TV, International channels, UK satellite channels, DVD player and stereo, 600 MB WIFI, DVD's, CD's, children's play area with various books and games for you to use (FREE OF CHARGE).
We also provide a security safe.
There are 2 bathrooms with large walk in showers, toilet and sink. The main bathroom also has a bidet and can be used as a family or en suite as it has two access doors, both have just been renovated to a very high standard with rainmaker showers.
Fully equipped newly fitted kitchen (everything is supplied, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, utensils, cutlery etc.) with lovely adjacent sun room diner overlooking the terrace. PERFECT FOR ENTERTAINING BY THE POOL.
We provide a free shopping service for basic essentials like milk, bottled water, bread, butter etc, just email us your list and we will stock the villa ready for you (the service is free, all you pay for are the items on your list, cash to be paid at check in to the property)
A very large patio (sunny all day) with alfresco dining area with BBQ (GRILL PROVIDED) and 10M X 5M pool with outside shower, sun loungers, table / chairs and parasol, ping pong table, plus a shaded pagoda (smoking area). NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
You enter the house through the sun room diner with the kitchen adjacent, turning left takes you into the large well equipped lounge. there is a door to the hall where all the bedrooms and bathrooms are located (SLEEPING AREA IS ISOLATED FROM GENERAL LIVING SPACE AND KEPT COOLER).
Your safety is important, the villa is equipped with: INFORMATION BOARD, FIRE EXTINGUISHER, FIRE BLANKET, SMOKE ALARMS, LIFE JACKETS FOR NON SWIMMERS, CO2 DETECTOR, EVACUATION PLAN, FIRST AID CABINET AND EMERGENCY TELEPHONE NUMBERS, VARIOUS LEAFLETS OF THINGS TO VISIT IN THE AREA, the house is also cleaned and disinfected after each booking.
THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA (too many to list them all)
MORAIRA:
A seaside town with old fortifications on the white sandy beach, shops, restaurants and a harbour with lovely sailing boats etc. EL PORTET is just a few minutes drive away with glorious views and yet another great beach.
CALPE:
Great for people watching, shopping, restaurants (fantastic seafood restaurants near the harbour), cinema etc. The beach front is well worth a walk for the views along the coast. If you are feeling energetic, you could even climb the famous rock of IFACH, the hike is quite tough in places with loose gravel and steep gradient, (wear sensible footwear) but the view makes it worthwhile, My advice is take your time (around 2 hours hike), take plenty to drink and a small picnic for when you get to the top, you can just sit down for lunch and stare at that awesome view (don't forget your camera).
BEACHES:
There are many fantastic white sandy beaches ( 84 with blue flag status ) close to the villa and all along the coast. GANDIA for example has a stretch of golden sandy beach 5km long with volleyball nets and other activities such as beach football, kite surfing and other water sports.
BENIDORM:
Just a 30 minute drive away. Here you will find everything to keep you occupied, bars, restaurants, show venues, beaches, old town, shopping, etc. If you have never been, you have to experience Benidorm at least once. ( WE HAVE PERSONALLY VISITED THIS PLACE MANY TIMES)
TERRAMITICA:
Situated just outside Benidorm is an amusement park with rides and rollercoaster etc. Who doesn't like a rollercoaster?
GUADALEST:
Situated on top of a mountain just under an hour inland is Guadalest, a very old picturesque fortified town with souvenir shops, restaurants and stunning views. (WE PERSONALLY VISIT THIS PLACE REGULARLY)
ROAD TO GUADALEST: (CV-755) Here you will find the Museo Vehículos Históricos Valle de Guadalest. A very good collection of old vehicles and motorcycles with just a €3 entry fee. ( WE HAVE PERSONALLY VISITED THIS PLACE MANY TIMES)
ALGAR WATERFALL:
Close to the town of Callosa d'en Sarrià is the Algar waterfall, a small entry fee lets you take a casual but pretty walk around the trail to look at the stunning falls and rockpools etc. ( WE HAVE PERSONALLY VISITED THIS PLACE 2 TIMES)
ALTEA:
Famous for its large church and old Spanish style streets of white houses is just a short drive along the coast.
RESTAURANTS:
There are so many to choose from, Spanish, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Steak houses , Seafood (which is stunning in the harbour at Calpe), American, Italian, English (you can even get your full English breakfast or Fish and Chips). There are lots of typical Spanish bars and cafes where you can just buy a coffee and watch the world go by, or try some local food, (the octopus is great).

We are an English couple from Sussex who have brought this lovely villa to earn an income in our later years. We worked hard in England and decided life was to short to spend all our time working like this, it was time to take life a bit slower, so we moved to France and brought a zoo (and worked even harder). YES a zoo, it was a live insect and butterfly tourist attraction. We integrated into French life and learned the language, which helped us make many really good French friends, which we are still in contact with, in fact some of them now use our villa for their holidays.
This was very successful and it enabled us to use it as a stepping stone to take semi retirement in Spain.
We have lived in Europe for over 10 years now, most of it in the south of France. Life is more relaxed than in the UK and we enjoy it very much.
There is so much to do here, places to visit, beaches, picturesque towns etc. But the weather is fantastic, sunshine for most of the year, eating outside by the pool is great.
If you are thinking of moving abroad but are hesitant, my only advice is try a rental villa to explore the region and then DO IT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
