How was very nice and clean, beds were comfortable.
We've rented several houses through Flip Key and VRBO over the years. This is the first time I had to request info on check in day. I reached out tothe property owner a week before our trip and he said the key code would be sent to me 24 hours before. Less thank 24 hours I had not received anything, which was now making me nervous, so I messaged the owner. The morning of check in, I finally received the key code.
Day 1 we discovered the air on the first floor wasn't working. We couldn't keep it cooler than 79 degrees. I called the PM and she was very responsive. She said she would make a call in the morning (Mon) to have it looked at.
Day 2, when PM called to see how the air was and I let her know it still wasn't working, she informed me that someone would be out sometime during the day since they had to try and squeeze us into their schedule. Our plans were to hang out that the resort so we would be there for AC guy. Then I found out that we had NO access to any of the resort amenities. Which put a big dent in the plans because we chose the resort due to the amenities and waterpark. Big disappointment for all 5 kids. But at least the air was fixed.
Day 3 - Since we had to find activities outside the resort, most of the family went to Legoland for the day. Around 10:30 we lost power. Left a message for the PM to let them know. I took a trip to Disney Springs and round 3:00 I called my son, still no power. No response from my 10:30 call, I called again. I even called the resort office and they said there were no reported issues. Called the other PM, no response. Reached out to the owner and within 30 min, the city came by and turned turned the electric back on for us. I spent an hour and 15 min trying to get someone to find out that the issue was, why we still have no power. No one else on the street was without power. Thank God we were home when the electric was shut off to know there was an issue, rather then getting home late and not be able to do anything and we would have lost all our food.
Please put in your description that renters do not have access to any resort amenities.
