AGRITURISMO FATTORIA CELLE

The ancient farmhouse "Fattoria di Celle" is located in the heart of a secluded and lonesome valley on the road going up the slopes of the Chianti hills, midway between Figline Valdarno and Greve in Chianti.

The farmhouse is surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves. It also has has a lake, where you may fish and a beautiful large swimming pool, open from May 1st to September 30th.
The farmhouse is on the road from the lower Arno valley (Valdarno) to the Chianti Region, the so called “Chiantigiana" road. The accurate restoration made by the owner emphasizes the ancient architecture of the manor with its stone walls, brick arches, beamed ceilings and recreates the warm atmosphere of ancient Tuscan houses.


AGRITURISMO FATTORIA CELLE is made of 10 apartments with separated entrances can accommodate up to 57 people, each apartment has its own private area for relaxing, in front of the house, with table, chairs and barbecue.


1 - Apartment “Villa” (About 180 sq. mt = 1950 sq.ft)

THE RESTAURANT

Up to request we may organize breakfast lunch and dinners. Our specialities are typical Tuscan recipes and homemade - woodovened pizza. We will organize each meal, if you desire, in a different location:

-The beautiful terrace with its roof of “wisteria”
-The cottage in front of the lake
- Dinner in Celle’s restaurant
-Dinner in vineyards
-Aperitivo by the pool


PARTIES
We will be happy to organize any kind of party for you, from wedding ceremony to DJ set.

OUR LOCAL PRODUCTION
Fattoria di Celle makes IGT red wine and extra virgin olive oil that the guests can enjoy and buy.
In Figline Valdarno, few km away, you may find any sort of shop: supermarkets, banks, cafe, confectionery, and more.
For shopping lovers, it is advisable to go to The Mall (only 14 km), the luxury outlet centre where you can find the most famous Italian and International high fashion brands.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Nearby the villa, just a few minutes by car, you can reach Figline Valdarno, where you will find shops, bars, restaurants and other amenities. From Figline Valdarno you may go Florence and other cities in Tuscany by train (trains to Florence every 20 minutes: 30-40 minutes to reach Florence Santa Maria Novella Railway station).
(Florence (30 km), Arezzo (40 km), Siena (40 km), San Gimignano, the Chianti region can be visited in one day trip and, if you desire, you can be guided by professional tour guides.
We may organize cooking classes, wine and oil tasting, visit and tours at Florence and Siena museums, and much more ....
From early spring you may admire the “Roses of Donatella”, shrubs, climbing, fragrant, more than 170 species of roses: spectacular bushes along the paths of the property, climbing the stone walls of the farmhouses, standing in a meadow, splashes of colors in garden beds and borders.
Trekking route: take a "walk in the wood" close to nature and unique landscapes! There is an old footpath that crosses the hills from the Villa to the farmhouses of the Farm. It was used to reach other houses on the mountain and to collect firewood, chestnuts and mushrooms in the forest. You may find also deers, wild boars and other wild animals. See the map.
The surrounding area is Tuscany! Florence, Arezzo, Siena, the Chianti region are your neighbors.

Accommodation tax: from 01/05 to 31/08 €1,00 for person/day for the first 7 days (children up to 12 years old excluded); In other moments of the year € 0.50 for person/day for the first 7 days (children up to 12 years old excluded).

Cleaning: 100€ /each apartment
