Excellent

This was our first time at Deep Creek and we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect!!! Everything we needed was there. The house looked exactly like the pictures, it was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely book again.

relaxing holiday

The property itself was very nice; housekeeping could have been a little better when we arrived. I swiffered the kitchen floor and swept off the deck though and all was good! Nice to spend time at firepit and easy walk to friends and dock.

Very nice place, but...........

The property is very nice overall; however, I was very disappointed in the cleaning of the property. For the amount of money we paid as a guest, we should not have to take out trash that was left by other guests, clean nasty smears on the sliding glass doors, sweep the outside deck, and sweep around the house. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed getting away. The property is very spacious and have nice amenities (hot tub, fire pit, grill, pool table, etc.). If a better job of cleaning had been done, we would have rated the property as a 4-star property. We plan to rent again next year; hopefully, we’ll see improvements after giving suggestions in this review.

Getaway weekend

House and neighborhood were clean and quiet. Everything was as advertised. We had an issue with the heat and after talking to the manager in the office there was a maintenance man there and it was fixed in a few minutes. We would stay again for sure.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Your website marketing of this property is very deceiving. Your web site makes this property look like it is on the lake but it is actually a 10 minute walk to the lake. We would never have rented this property if we had known how far from the lake it was. Very disappointed in Taylor-Made vacations and will probably never use your service again. Also will never recommend you to others. Deceiving marketing practices.

Hi Jon, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I apologize if there was any confusion about the distance to the lake. This was definitely not intended. The description of the home does mention that the lake access is about 0.5 miles from the home, but I know that could be easily overlooked. I understand your frustration with this. To prevent it from happening to future guests, I added text to the image of the lake to indicate that it is half a mile from the home.
