Schöne Grüße vom Lago Maggiore! Dieses helle, geräumige Apartment verfügt über einen großen offenen Grundriss und viele Annehmlichkeiten. Als Eigentümer-Einheit ist es komplett mit allen Notwendigkeiten ausgestattet und nach höchsten Standards eingerichtet. Große Terrassenschiebetüren und andere Fenster halten das Gerät hell und luftig und bieten von den meisten Zimmern einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Lago Maggiore und die umliegenden Berge. Die wunderschöne, geräumige Terrasse bietet absolute Privatsphäre und ist ein großartiger Ort zum Essen, Sonnenbaden oder einfach nur zum Entspannen. Wi-Fi-Internetzugang und zwei Flachbildfernseher mit Satellitenempfang bieten zahlreiche Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten für die ganze Familie. Eine Fußbodenheizung, vollständig versenkbare Markisen auf der Terrasse und viele andere Annehmlichkeiten (Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine usw.) sorgen für maximalen Komfort während Ihres Aufenthalts. Beautiful view

Wonderful once we found the owner and he helped us find the apartment. Very small Hamlet of Mogognino with very narrow roads. Closest cafes, markets and restaurants are 5 kilometers away, but once you go there very nice. Lots to do and see. Gorgeous view, quiet and very safe.

We spent time in Stresa which was a must visit, Milan, Boat excursion to the Borromean Island, again a must visit. Spent an evening on Mattorone watching the sunset, swam in Lake Maggiore. Amazing views but no attractions near by

Beautiful terrace and views. Parking was difficult because lane way is too steep and tight so had to park in village centre which was a bit of a walk with luggage and elderly parent. Apartment was great though inside. Hosts were always available and left wine and water for us! Would recommend for people who are very mobile and have small car to get to nearby towns

Fantastic Apartment with Breathtaking Views of Lake Maggiore

Our host Maciek provided excellent, detailed information in advance about directions to the apartment, self check in and places to see in and around Stresa. The location up the mountain from Stresa is so peaceful. The views from the apartment’s large deck are panoramic at all times of the day and night. This is the best equipped apartment rental we have ever stayed at - everything from salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar, salt, toilet paper, laundry soap etc. etc. We highly recommend this apartment and commend Maciek on his responsiveness, friendliness and availability. 100% perfetto!

My stay nearby Maggiore Lake

My wife and another couple spend outstanding week in this area. Apartment is well equipped but the most outstanding is the terrace and view of the lake. Nearby there are lot of things which can be visited - Stresa, islands, mountains etc. To do shopping you have to go to Stresa. There are no AC, bur fresh breeze from the lake is sufficient. It must be said, that parking place is for those, who has smal cars and skills to drive very narrow street and steep slope. Overall - it was wonderful stay in northern Italy with outstanding views and plenty possibilities to try tasty Italian food and visit beautiful places.

Lovely quiet location with excellent lake view

Very pleasant and clean apartment with excellent views of the lake. Located in a small village about 10 minutes drive from Stresa. Fabulous large outdoor patio (unfortunately the weather was not cooperating to utilize it to the best). Facilities and equipment were as you would expect for a modern rental apartment. Very tight parking so beware if you have anything larger than a compact vehicle. Elizabet, who welcomed us, was very helpful and friendly. The guide to the area, sent to us by Maciek, was very useful.

Beautiful view!

The view was amazing!! The property was in good proximity to everything we wanted to do, and the host provided 17 pages worth of recommendations for activities. Stresa is an awesome place that we definitely want to go back to. There are 3 things I think worth mention that we’re a little surprising to us. First, the shower was very small. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I think it worth knowing! Second, the roads are tiny and dark at night (you are in the mountains after all). Finally, there is a charge to use the sheets at this property. That might be common in Europe, but coming from the US, it took me a bit by surprise! Would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Stresa!

Lake Maggiore, and the Lake District in general, is a great place to call home and makes for a wonderful holiday destination, offering a variety of fun and exciting activities at any time of the year, including mountain biking, hiking, sailing and skiing, just to name a few. In addition to the area’s breathtaking natural beauty, the region is also incredibly rich in history and offers lots of wonderful cultural attractions, from medieval castles and amazing palaces overlooking the lakes to world-class museums and numerous architectural wonders in Milan, Como, Bergamo and other nearby cities. One of the best features of the Lake District is its central location and its proximity to so many other popular and famous destinations. Within just a few hours drive one can soak up the sun on the beaches of the French Riviera, taste some of the world’s finest wines in beautiful Tuscany and enjoy truly spectacular alpine scenery while hiking around the Dolomites. Throw in a relatively pleasant climate, all the incredible food and the most delicious gelato and it’s easy to see why this is one of the nicest and most livable regions anywhere in the world.
