What an amazing place to stay.

What an amazing place to stay. Everything and more was supplied for an idyllic long weekend. Each room was Spotless and very nicely decorated. The hosts were amazing, leaving a homemade cake for us and even lending us some sugar to make scones with. It was one of our parties birthday and she was even given a gift to help us celebrate. Owners friendly but not intrusive and there was a home baked cake awaiting us on arrival after a long journey with milk in the fridge so we could have tea and cake. Very thoughtful. We are a group of freinds from all over the South West and Midlands area and were meeting up for one of our birthdays for a relaing weekend and this place did that and had a little bit of the wow factor for us. We managed to cook a roast for the 7 of us, but this was a bit of a struggle as it is a normal size oven even though the cottage sleeps 8 people and if you went there for Christmas with the intention of not going out to lunch this would be a struggle as well. Absolutely lovely holiday cottage in this beautiful part of Somerset, Bishopswood with easy access to the A303, which opens the way to the rest that Somerset has to offer plus Devon and Dorset. A great base that you want to come back to after a day out. The cottage is beautifully decked out with open plan living space and kitchen and the added bonus of a jacuzzi out back. Great for a large family or couple of families to share. Had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back.
