- Für 6 Personen in einem Kingsize- und Queensize-Bett. Die Queensize-Betten können in 2 Einzelbetten aufgeteilt werden. Das Mansardenzimmer verfügt über ein hochwertiges Doppelschlafsofa. Das King-Zimmer ist ensuite und die Königin hat das Familienbadezimmer daneben. Im Dachgeschoss gibt es Türen, die auf einen Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten / Schlafsofa führen, auf dem Sie den Sonnenuntergang beobachten und die vorbeifahrenden Boote beobachten können. Es gibt eine Waschküche im ersten Stock und eine zusätzliche Toilette im Erdgeschoss. Dies wurde als Nasszelle für sandige Zehen und schlammige Pfoten angepasst. Die Küche im Erdgeschoss ist komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Induktionsherd, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank. Das Wohn- und Esszimmer ist offen geschnitten und verfügt über einen Holzofen und einen Smart-TV mit DVD-Player. Sowohl der Ess- als auch der Gartentisch bieten Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. Der Garten ist an der Seite des Hauses entlang des Weges einige Stufen hinauf. Freie Sicht auf den Dart, mit Gartenzimmer und Gartenmöbeln. Kurzurlaub außerhalb der Hochsaison willkommen. Eine Parkerlaubnis für ein Fahrzeug ist auf dem nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Unterkunft entfernten Parkplatz Dart Marina erhältlich. Einige Parkplätze an der Straße sind möglicherweise ebenfalls verfügbar. Wir können zusätzliche Parkplätze auf dem Parkplatz arrangieren, für die eine zusätzliche Gebühr anfällt. Ein kleiner Hund ist gegen Aufpreis willkommen. Von der Unterkunft erreichen Sie Dartmouth mit der Fähre in nur 5 Gehminuten. Dort finden Sie Restaurants sowie Boutiquen und Geschäfte wie Jack Wills, Fat Face und Joules. Die Fähre bietet Platz für Fahrzeuge und Passagiere. Von hier aus können Sie das Dartmouth Castle, den atemberaubenden Blackpool Sands und den Slapton Beach besuchen. Salcombe ist eine 30-40-minütige Fahrt entfernt, eine schöne Lage mit einem anderen National Trust-Anwesen. Eine Bootsfahrt oder der Dampfzug bringt Sie zum Greenway von Agatha Christie, nach Totnes oder Paignton. Besuchen Sie auch das malerische National Trust House Coleton Fishacre und unternehmen Sie mehrere Küstenwanderungen. Auf dem Fluss besteht die Möglichkeit, Kanus oder Stand-Up-Paddle-Boards und Kajaks zu mieten. Wir haben auch superschnelles Breitband und WiFi und Bettwäsche ist inbegriffen. Handtücher mitbringen.

Very clean property with lovely views, & adjacent garden. Comfortable beds, efficient heating & hot water, great showers. Parking a brisk 5 min walk to the marina & a stone’s throw from the ferry to cross to Dartmouth. Excellent dining opportunities nearby. Quite steep steps to climb up or down to the house. Wendy, very helpful though out. We were completely spoilt with the weather but irrespective, a great place to stay

A very good property to stay in, good location, ferry handy to use to get access to Dartmouth, where most of cafes/restaurants are. Good walks, we did not need to use the car for 5 days !

Sandbar is ideal for exploring the Roseland Peninsula and wider Cornwall too, gems such as Charlestown and Fowey are near enough to visit and you can get to the North Coast easily to. A fabulous place to stay!

We were looking for a quality property and Morocco House did not disappoint. The house is beautifully kept, we had everything we needed; we were very comfortable. The views across to Dartmouth and beyond from every window are stunning. The location is perfect, just down the steps to the little ferry and the railway station. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful house - probably the best we’ve ever stayed in

A beautiful home with quality furnishings - we loved it! Excellent communication from the owner. We had a wonderful time exploring the area - the ferry makes trips back and forth to Dartford so easy. Be sure to visit the Seahorse restaurant and Kents Caverns - and a walk along the coastal path from the house offers some breathtaking views.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful property/location

We had the most fantastic 3 night stay at Morocco House. The property was absolutely perfect for our needs, was so beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need. The property was spotless, the beds were very comfy, the garden was magical and the views from every aspect were glorious! It couldn't have been more convenient for the ferry, too. Great property in the most excellent location. Close to everything. We parked the car on Friday night and didn't get back in it until we left on the Monday. Everything you need in the house and very comfortable.

Three times happy

A beautiful, relaxing stay between Christmas and New Year. The house was decorated just right. We've visited now during three seasons and each has proved wonderful. With crazy weather, it was terrific to have the ferries so close. I love going round the house looking at the pictures, ornaments and soft furnishings. The house was lovely and warm throughout the stay

Awesome Holiday

We loved the location, overlooking Dartmouth which is stunning day and night. Take care with any Google directions and just stick to the main road. Avoid coming off the main road via Higher Street, alongside The Ship Inn - as we did! Accommodation is perfect and the ferry just a short walk away takes you straight into Dartmouth.

Simply Stunning

We had a lovely stay at Morocco House. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely. Everything smelt new and fresh. There was everything available in the kitchen to suit our needs and we loved all of the little sea themed ornaments. A really well planned/thought out holiday home. We would definitely stay again. Really pretty location with stunning views from each bedroom.

Morocco House

This house was fantastic for our family holiday. It was very clean and had lovely furnishings and decor. The location was perfect with superb views from every window. We only used the care twice during our stay. We would definitely book this house again. The only consideration is access to the property as there are steps to it but once you get up the steps the views are amazing.

Fabulous

This is a beautiful property in a stunning location. The house is immaculate and beautifully furnished with everything you could need. The location is really convenient for the parking and the ferries across to Dartmouth, although there are quite a few steps involved. Wendy the host was very helpful and the level of information supplied was excellent. Overall we had a lovely stay in this wonderful house and would recommend it whole heartedly.

Wonderful Break

Fantastic property looking across the Dart to Dartmouth. 25 second walk to either passenger ferry or ‘lower’ car ferry. Very clean and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could wish for. Such good communications and particularly helpful sorting out car parking tickets for us in advance of our arrival. I cannot recommend this enough.

What a gem!!

We've just spent the most wonderful week in Morocco House! Wendy was very helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed for our stay. The views are amazing, with the added bonus of a little garden with garden room offering great views of the Dart. A Great Stay

A wonderful property with stunning views. Very clean with all the amenities you need. Good communication with Wendy for check in. Easy access to Dartmouth on the ferry 30 seconds from the doorstep. Got to know alot of the local business owners at the coffee shop, post office, cafe, Italian wine bar and The Ship Inn, all very friendly and welcoming. A great walk behind the house through the woods and along the coast. Would definitely hope to return. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.

Fantastic place to stay!

Lovely stay at Morocco House, the kitchen/diner had everything you need and is a good space if you wish to prepare and have meals. There are good places to eat out in Dartmouth and Kingswear. It was lovely to return to after a busy day, we loved the views of the river and looking at all the boats, so relaxing. The coast path is a great walk and you can do as little or as much as you like, the Castle at Dartmouth is worth a visit and really all of the South Hams is beautiful with so much to do. We do hope to return soon. Paul

Fabulous stay

Wonderful property, beautifully decorated with lovely touches making it comfortable and welcoming. Everything you need is provided, comfy beds and modern bathrooms. The views are just amazing from every window and the garden is a great place to relax whilst watching the myriad of boats go by. Kingswear has a lovely village atmosphere and the ferry is close so you can visit Dartmouth for shops, cafes restaurants and by car you can get to the stunning beach at Blackpool sands and many more places such as Bigbury and Bantham. You can take a boat trip to Greenway, Agatha Christie's summer home, and Brixham and Torbay are within easy reach too. There is so much to do we will have to return

There is so much to do in the area, for young and not so young alike, stunning estuary and beaches, even a steam train just a stone's throw from Morocco House! Being on the coast path gives access to amazing views and National Trust properties are nearby. Wendy

Stunning

A perfect retreat. Views to die for and the house is extremely well equipped with everything you might need. Ferry great fun and just down the steps from the house. You will not be disappointed if you book this property, we are already thinking of coming back. Absolutely loved it.

We are Mark, Wendy & Ellie and we live on Dartmoor in Devon with our hens and ducks and a converted barn for holidays. We had owned holiday cottages in a nearby village for 12 years, then took a break to bring up our daughter. We also had the opportunity to purchase property in Rock, Cornwall which are successful as holiday rentals. We have now had the amazing opportunity to purchase Morocco House, with its stunning views and complements our other properties. It has a 'home from home' feel which is important so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. We have added things we have collected over the years to make it feel homely for our guests. If you wish to plan a two centre holiday we aim to provide short breaks at different locations except in high season.
The South Hams is a special place as you will discover. Try Cornwall as another place to visit moortoseacottages

Simply stunning location with everything close at hand. It is on the South West coast path for amazing walks, with beaches nearby and many towns and villages to visit. National Trust properties to explore or just sit in the garden and watch the river 'traffic'. Dartmouth across the ferry provides and abundance of shops, restaurants, museums and places of interest. The steam train from Kingswear takes you to Paignton (beach stop along the way) and boat trips on the river to Greenway (Agatha Christie) or to historic Totnes. The highlight of the year is the Dartmouth Regatta, with street markets, river races, fun activities and fireworks, usually last week in August.

Very close to vehicle and passenger ferry to Dartmouth and glorious beaches and coastline beyond. Character property, quirky yet comfortable with all you would expect from a quality holiday home.
