A great time in Villa Bandama

We spent two weeks in Gran Canaria we were a family 6 with teenagers and young adults We had great time and The villa Bandama was perfect central point to visit and tour the north and center of the island, it was also a great place to just relax and enjoy the facilities (swimming pool tennis barbecue) and the amazing view It might be a bit far from the south touristic Maspalomas but it was not what we were looking for.

👍 We immediately fell in love with Mansion Bandama. This is not a modern luxury villa, but a magnificent historic mansion full of character, elegance, and authenticity. The house breathes history, and every room tells a story. The estate itself is stunning, with beautiful gardens, a peaceful atmosphere, and an impressive driveway that gives you a grand welcome every time you arrive. Although the climate at this higher elevation is pleasantly cool, every bedroom is equipped with a silent and highly efficient air-conditioning system, ensuring maximum comfort even during the warmest days. The swimming pool is beautiful, and we highly recommend paying the small extra fee to have it heated. The private tennis court is another fantastic feature that makes the stay even more enjoyable. If you appreciate heritage, authenticity, and unique places with a soul, Mansion Bandama is an unforgettable experience. We would gladly return. 👎 /

We stayed at Villa Mansion as a family of 10 for a week over New Year’s Eve, and it was an amazing experience. The villa was incredibly spacious with separate dining and living rooms, fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The large gardens were perfect for the kids to play, and the tennis court offered fun for the whole family. The heated pool stayed at a comfortable 28°C, even in winter, and was cleaned regularly each morning. We loved using the outdoor grill for most of our dinners, and the consistent, stylish décor made the home feel warm and luxurious. The quiet neighborhood offered stunning views, especially while watching the New Year’s fireworks. Our trip to the nearby volcano crater was a great adventure, and the entire family created unforgettable memories here. We highly recommend Villa Mansion for anyone seeking a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

Holiday Ruined - Raw Sewage in Shower

We paid a lot to stay in this villa in half term and on arrival there was a bad smell of sewage in the downstairs toilet which we reported that day. The sewage smell proceeded to get worse throughout the week particularly into the en-suite of the bedroom next door. We reported the smell daily and nothing was done. Then raw sewage came up into the shower tray ( which had obviously happened before) and we were told not to use any bathrooms on that side of the house meaning one en-suite bathroom was available for all five bedrooms until we left. When we asked for a partial refund as we could not use all the villa and had to put up with the smell all week we were offered a pathetically small sum. Do not stay in this villa if you want a nice holiday. The owners clearly think having raw sewage come up in your shower is really no problem.
