We had such a wonderful time on our anniversary trip at this property. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The property is calm and beautiful, perfect for bird watching, fishing, and just relaxing. It is great to be able to walk to restuarants. The host is super responsive and answered any questions we had. Would totally come back to this same VRBO :)

We loved our stay in Goodland. The cottage was clean, cute, convenient location to walk to the restaurants and marina for renting a boat and a quick drive to Marco Island. We loved sitting out by the water and just looking out at Goodland Bay enjoying our morning coffee, watching the boaters, birds and fish. Goodland is a very cute and quiet area...perfect for biking, walking and unwinding. Our host was friendly and responsive. We would definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great stay

Very clean, comfy bed and right on the water. Great place for the 2 of us. Had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Really enjoyed walking to all the local restaurants and most of all sitting by the water and watching the boats go by. We will be back.

Great stay with nice water views!

Comfortable accommodations. Everything was exactly as listed. Low key and quiet neighborhood. Close to Marco Island (8-10min drive) for groceries, shopping, beaches, and more restaurants. Loved having kayaks to use right out the back to explore the mangrove islands and watch the sun set. Lots of osprey nesting and fishing. Would stay again!

Lovely getaway on a beautiful island away from the hustle and bustle of nearby towns!

I grew up in the area and Goodland has a special place in my heart. This cottage has it all. Super cozy, well stocked kitchen (cookware, coffee, condiments, etc), plenty of essentials for an enjoyable island stay (beach chairs, sunscreen, beach towels), and convenient laundry access. The host was very responsive and the unit was clean, welcoming, and charming. I look forward to visiting again soon!!

Goodland is a quirky little spot. We enjoyed walking and biking to the waterholes. Just a short drive to Marco. Was relaxing to sit by the water and watch the boats, birds and dolphins 😊

Perfect getaway

Very clean, comfortable & well stocked cottage in a great location. It was nice to have a dock right there that we could tie our rented boat up to. Left the car parked & walked where we needed to go. The owners were great- friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to find an item we lost and made sure we got it back. Highly recommend and hope to make it back for another stay!

Small Town Feel leaving a big positive experience!!

I kinda hate to tell the truth here cuz the secret will be out. This is a clean, cute, perfectly placed cottage for anyone who wants to relax, kayak, bike, walk, listen to music, eat local and feel like you're home. For us we will be back and the accommodations in our cottage is what we needed, small kitchen, LR combo, bathroom and bedroom. We loved having bikes but you can walk just as easily to the bars/restaurants. Marco Island is 5 miles down the road for any shopping or exploring.

A nice stay

The cottage was very clean with a comfortable bed and nice towels and linens. The gifts left for us were a very welcoming touch. It was a bonus to have a community laundry right there at the unit. The kitchen is reasonably stocked but could use a few more pots and pans and more flatware. I’m glad to see the photos have been updated because when we originally booked, we didn’t realize that we were actually the middle of three units and not a single cottage . Overall a great rental that we would suggest to friends and visit again.

Far from the crowds.............ideal for kayaking

Our 3-day stay was lovely. Amanda's place is away from the bustle of traffic and tourists.....Goodland is an old fishing village, and the area has bohemian charm. You can sit at the edge of the property and look out over islands in the Gulf. The unit is clean and nicely furnished; a couple luggage racks would have made it easier to access/store our stuff. The bed was wide and very comfortable, and shower was good. Unit doesn't provide a hair dryer or a microwave, and hand-washing all dishes is necessary.

Best ever

I have fallen in love with Goodland Fl. The cottage is cute, well stocked with the stuff we actually need on vacation and the cottage was clean clean. The host was fabulous, helped us and checked to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Everything in the cottage worked, ++ comfortable bed! All of this was wonderful but the view tops all of it. Sitting on the lawn chairs, overlooking the bay, watching Dolphins jumping, Eagles chasing Ospreys, Pelicans and birds birds birds..... listening to the soft reggae coming from the restaurant while a soft tropical breeze blew and watched the sunset.... heaven! I'll be back :-)
