Amazing property, clean and extremely well equipped. High end furnishings and lovely comfortable beds.The location was amazing, just a short walk to the lake, shops, pubs and restaurants. There was a steep hill to get back to the property but well worth it. Communication from both the owners and Otto the property manager was fantastic.We hope to return in the future! Thank you.

Just returned from a week with our two sons and two dogs. From the moment we walked in we were blown away by the standard of decor and facilities. Everything you could need has been thought of. We loved the outdoor fire built into the wall, it provided the perfect outdoor space to sit and relax and rest your legs. The location is amazing, close to all the attractions, restaurants and bars but the house was so peaceful and quiet. Excellent communication throughout with Otto, would highly recommend

Beautiful, sparkling clean house in great location

We really enjoyed our week at Lexington House. Just a few minutes walk to all amenities, yet peaceful. Otto was lovely and very helpful. Definitely would highly recommend a stay here!

Ideal family house

Ticked every box and more for us as a family of four with two young adults. The house is immaculate as described and ideally located. We really enjoyed our stay in Bowness and would certainly return again to this house. Really friendly team welcomed us and on departure.

What a find! A beautiful house, the location was superb, far enough away from the centre of the town to be peaceful but just a few minutes walk to all the amenities of the town. The house has everything you might need, including a Nespresso machine! The Angel is just a few minutes down the road and is very welcoming and super dog friendly. I cannot complain about anything!!!

Another amazing stay

This was our second stay at Lexington House and it was as good as the first. The house had everything you needed, was very clean and it is in an amazing location. Otto was very helpful and responsive. Loved every minute of our stay here and was sad to go home. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect place to stay

We had an amazing stay at Lexington House celebrating a family birthday. The house is amazing, spacious, immaculately clean and everything you need is there. We really enjoyed our stay, the home is cosy to come back to after long walks and busy days. We were able to make use of the outdoor fire even in March which was a lovely bonus

Very difficult to fault. Excellent communications before and during stay, property was described to perfection.Great location, the hill up to the property was a little steep when walking but nothing unexpected and was good exercise. Outside seating area was very pleasant and ample parking at the front.

Wonderful property

We have stayed at several VRBO properties, and this one is accurately photographed. Everything about it is great. Otto was terrific. The location is ideal. We highly recommend this property.

Absolutely Outstanding!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this truly amazing property. The property is located on a lovely quiet road which is perfectly placed to access the attractions of Bowness. The property itself is finished to an exceptionally high standard and I can honestly say it is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in.

Great property in great location

We went as a family of six adults in August. The house is very well equipped and everything is done to a really high standard. The location is also very good - you can walk everywhere if you want to and not use the car at all. Really helpful and responsive owners and I'm sure we'll be back.

A lovely lake retreat

We loved our stay here. Great location, a 5 minute stroll downhill into Bowness and the lake (10 mins home uphill!!) and central enough to be able to explore the wider area by car, boat or minibus. The house was beautifully clean, well furnished and had all the facilities we could need for our stay. It’s in a lovely quiet area, away from the busy town and lakeside area. We’ll definitely be back!!

Family break

Great property in great location perfect for our family gathering easy walk to lake Activities, bars and restaurants and some great walks. We ended our evenings outside sitting around the fire pit with a glass of wine looking at the stars. We would definitely choose this property again.

We stayed at Lexington House for 7 days. The property is very clean, well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen. It is an easy stroll into Bowness for shopping and restaurants. There is ample parking for several cars in the courtyard. Each of the three bedrooms is ensuite which is handy. The only con was the dining area which required a bit of gymnastics to get around the table. In general, a lovely stay and excellent hosts.
