This is a great little spot to enjoy the Adirondacks. We have stayed here for several years in a row now and plan to for several more. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which makes things convenient. Access to the lake and the kayaks is huge for us. The private dock is relaxing. The place is perfect for our family!

Another great vacation with the family at Shawnee. The weather was great, the home was cozy, love the location in the woods and only a short walk to the lake. The new flooring in the bedrooms is very nice. The location is convenient to Eagle Bay, Inlet, many hiking trails. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Property is great with a bathroom in each bedroom, but there are no bathtubs so had to wash babies in the kitchen sink. Nice amenities, very good communication and great wooded, private property. It was a bit further from the lake than we anticipated, but overall it is a beautiful property. Would definitely return.

This is a beautiful and spacious cottage with a well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were all spacious while rh comfortable. Each bedroom had its own en suite bath with shower. The quick walk to the lake meant we hopped down to the water frequently either for swimming or kayaking. Very quiet yet just a short 10 minute drive to Old Forge. The six of us (including two tweens) had a great time - and appreciated having our own spaces. We’d like to return!

very pleased with our stay. it was perfect for our family. Owner's promptly answered any questions we had as soon as we called them. The home was spacious and clean and nicely decorated, even had nicely decorated for the Fall season. Just a a couple of things to mention that we weren't aware of before the check in/out directions. There is no trash collection and you need to bring your garbage with you to the town dumpster. We have never had to do that before with any other properties we've stayed at. I tend to overpack(my bad) so leaving with the trash wasn't fun, but totally manageable for us. Could use a couple of large non stick frying pans. The ones they had were really hard to clean and it was kinda visible that the people before us found that as well. Luckily we are not large people and the kids used the downstairs bathrooms as they are very small. Other than those couple of minor things, that were manageable to us. We would definitely come back because it was a great place and lovely private location.

This was our third stay here with family. It is such a peaceful place tucked in the woods, but close to many services. It’s also just steps from the Tobie trail.

We had a wonderful stay! The spacious living area and separate bathrooms for each bedroom made this a perfect vacation for us and our adult children. The private dock and swimming area made it an amazing vacation. We have vacationed in the area for many years, and this property met all of our expectations and more. We had many laughs around the firepit. Beautiful, quiet and private area! We loved our time there!

This is a fabulous house! An open floor plan which worked very well for 3 couples. The bathrooms are a bit small, however each couple had their own bathroom! And the host is great to work with!! We will definitely return!

Guys snowmobile weekend

Excellent place to stay for snowmobiling. Very close to a major trail, restaurants, and even snowmobile shop/dealer. The accommodations were awesome, clean and a great layout. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to the area to snowmobile.

Excellent getaway home

Spent a week here this summer with four of my children (three younger, one grown), and had a wonderful time -- the cabin is clean and modern while keeping a woodsy feel, and the arrangements of the bedrooms is perfect for a family on the road! The master suite was a wonderful retreat, and the living room was a great spot to relax at the end of an afternoon splashing about at the small private beach, or in one of the many activities available in the area!
