Nestled in the woods is this beautiful four-season Adirondack lodge, and the perfect place for your next vacation. You'll be surrounded by fall leaves and stunning views from the mountain top that overlook the Old Forge channel and 1st lake.
Five bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king bed and walk in closet. The upstairs bedroom has one queen bed across from another room with two twin beds and trundle. Downstairs has one room with a queen bed and a second room with one twin bed as well, accommodating up-to 10 guests. With a living room as well as a finished walk out basement with an additional tv room that also features a sectional couch. The interior is warm and inviting, just right for fun, laughter, and relaxing times together. Classic knotty pine walls, ceilings and gorgeous birch railings provide the backdrop for Adirondack charm and coziness in every room.
The fully-outfitted kitchen is perfectly suited for preparing and serving group meals and opens to a great room with a log dining room table, chairs and bench to gather around.
The beauty inside is matched outside by wooded landscaped terraces and two decks, with winter views of the narrows and McCauley Mountain. The fire pit and play area will create your own special vacation memories. Brand new gas grille added Spring 2023.
A short drive to the private beach features a boat ramp with dock and spacious sandy beach, perfect for wading and swimming. The quaint Town of Old forge is only 3 minutes away. If you’re looking to Snowmobile, we are down the road from Trail 4 and first lake! You can ride to town, the gas pumps, and access the inner trail system. There is ample driveway space to park your trailers and snowmobiles all winter long. Garage excluded from rentals for winter season.
At day’s end, sing songs and toast s’mores around the campfire. When it’s time to come in, play board games, cards or watch a large-screen TV with cable to view your favorite movies and programs. Each bedroom has their own personal TV as well to enjoy shows or movies before bed. Others may enjoy searching the web on a high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection.
You will enjoy yourselves whether inside or out creating memories with family and friends that will last a lifetime. Guests are to bring their own bed linens, pillowcases, and bath towels. House has blankets and pillows.

This house is very comfortable and great for a group! We had 7 total and mostly all young adults/teens. It was nice having bedrooms on 3 floors so we could put girls upstairs, boys downstairs, and the hubs and I got the one room on the main floor. The skeeball and bball games in the basement were a big hit.

This house was perfect for our reunion group! It is much bigger than it looks from the front, and has a great layout for multiple families vacationing together. The top floor has 2 cape bedrooms and a full bath, the main level has another full bath and a huge open plan living, kitchen and dining area, and the living and large bedroom both have access to an upper deck. The lower level has two more bedrooms, a family/game room, laundry and a walkout to the covered patio and backyard with fire pit. Be aware you need to bring all your own sheets and towels, and transport all garbage to the local drop station about 10 min away. Otherwise, the house was fully stocked and we easily cooked tons of meals, including use of the outdoor grill. The owner was super responsive to all questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The area even had a long power outage one morning, but the onsite generator kept us going as if nothing had gone wrong! The location is FANTASTIC - a very short drive into town, Water Safari, or the community private beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and look forward to staying again next time we come up to Old Forge.

My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!

Great cabin with tons of room

Owner was great very good communication to a of clean rooms and nice living room/kitchen. TVs is every room with roku would definitely recommend. Short ride through neighborhood to trails for snowmobiling.

Snowmobile Vacation with the boys

We had a great time snowmobiling for several days from this cabin. I can’t say enough about the host’s communication and the stay was enjoyable and hassle free. This is a 5 experience! Ages in our group were from 23 to 60 and everyone had a great time.

This was our third year in a row heading up to the ADK for Thanksgiving, it is our new family tradition. The house was perfect for our family , 5 adults and 3 children under the age of 9, we had plenty of room . Fresh Mountain Air Is The Best Medicine

The house was perfect in every way!! We went to Old Forge every year when our kids were growing up and stayed in the cabins at the campground. Now older, we decided we need real beds, but still wanted that “camp” feel. This property was perfect! The open floor plan allows for gathering, game play, visiting, etc., while all being “together.” Beds were comfy, coffee mugs were on point, fire pit was perfect…it was truly an amazing weekend at an amazing property. Mike was super friendly, helpful and responsive.

Perfect peace of mind

Either people, youngest being 14, could not have been more comfortable. Very clean and spacious, loved the back covered porch for games. Was very private even for Labor Day weekend. Close to Old Forge, Inlet, and anything else we wanted to see or do. Host was very responsive when we needed to reach out. Would highly recommend!

Great family vacation

We loved the location of this house being just a couple minute drive outside of old forge. We also loved its secluded location on a quiet road. We took walked every morning and loved it. The house was great for our family of 6 adults and three kids. We had a fire every night, cooked most of our meals here and overall enjoyed everything. A mama deer and her two babies visited us every day and one morning we saw a bear walk by the house. We've been coming to old forge since we were kids and we just love it. Thanks Mike for a great stay.

Our stay was excellent. The owner was extremely communicative and made sure we were taken care of and comfortable. The house is full of Adirondack cabin character and we'll supplied and decorated. Our kids especially love the fire pit and covered second floor deck.

Perfect Family Spot

We had two couples and four kids, the house ended up being perfect for kids. There was lots of space, a safe balcony, and the games in the basement were a hit. Mike was incredibly response and helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay. The private beach was a great perk! We will definitely be coming back to stay here next year.
