Peaceful and relaxing, just what we asked for. The cottage is in a quiet part of Kent, it was as described in the listing, plenty to do for our kids. We couldn’t get them off the zip line. My eldest discovered an interest in tennis while we stayed. There are lots of things to do or enjoy while at the cottage. The swing seat for the sunsets was a well thought out touch. The kids enjoyed seeing the chickens and sheep each morning. The cottage had everything we needed to live for a week, and the shower was always hot. The hosts are friendly and approachable. They have done a lot of work to make the cottages comfortable. For a 30 minutes walk through picturesque orchards, you can find the swan on the green pub which serves great food and large range of drinks. This is a great find.

Great vacation location

Our stay with Katie and Andy was absolutely amazing. The farmhouse is beautiful and the surrounding gardens are huge. It was a great playground for our two years old. The cottage was great, big enough for a family, well equipped and charming. In short, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying with Katie and Andy

Katie and Andy were very friendly and helpful. The surroundings are gorgeous (big garden, pond, places to sit and relax). Ideal for families. Our granddaughter enjoyed the playground, the playhouse and that there is plenty of room to run about.

Beautiful Cottage & Fantastic Hosts

We loved our stay at the Dairy Cottage over the Christmas holidays, and would definitely return. The cottage was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully appointed, and the hosts Andy and Katie were very helpful with all our questions and needs. Little touches like a welcome bottle of red wine and a small supply of groceries go a long way!! We highly recommend the Dairy Cottage!

Fabulous for Adults and Children

Dairy Cottage is a rural haven, yet so close to London for day trips - but our two girls just wanted to stay on the lovely Hamptons Farmhouse grounds. They like the tennis court now but a few years ago it would have been the trampoline and zip wire. With the open barn and the gazebo (which overlooks the tennis court and other play facilities) the grown-ups have plenty of places to relax. Highly recommended. We will be stay here again.

Superb Child Friendly Holiday Accommodation

Dairy Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is very peaceful . Perfect if you are a National Trust Member as there are so many places to visit nearby. The cottage itself was beautiful and the added little touches on arrival of flowers, fruit, coffee etc. were very much appreciated. Dairy Cottage has amazing facilities for children - the outdoor play area is near and safe for the children to explore but is not intrusive for guests staying without children. Our grandson adored the chickens and ducks that were merrily wandering the area as well as the ponies in the top field. All in all it was a perfect holiday stay. The owners of the property were very helpful and friendly. We shall be returning for a future stay.

Beautiful and cosy country stay.

A great place to be immersed in the gorgeous Kent countryside. We stayed at Dairy Cottage, which stayed true to it’s listing on the site. The children particularly enjoyed sleeping in their ‘attic’ space. The property is well stocked with cooking equipment and is hearted nicely for those colder evenings. The best bit for us was exploring the extensive grounds (lots to do for the kids) and enjoying walking directly from the cottage, along public footpaths, to nearby pubs. Andy was very friendly and gave us a guided tour of the grounds on arrival and answered any questions we had promptly. Also, the info booklet on sight is very thorough, with all you need to know about the property and the surrounding area. We had a fantastic stay - Thanks Andy and Katie.

This was our second stay at Dairy Cottage, and just like the first time, everything was perfect for us. The cottage is in a quiet rural area, surrounded by nature. In addition to the chickens and sheep belonging to our very friendly hosts, we were able to watch squirrels, pheasants, and lots of birds outside our window, especially in the morning. There are many attractions to visit near the cottage (some of which are managed by the National Trust; highly recommended!). Most of them can be found in Katie and Andy's comprehensive information folder (along with many other tips and recommendations). The cottage itself is very clean and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We immediately felt (almost) at home. We recommend the cottage and Katie and Andy 100%.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in Kent
