There is in fact 2 showers available at the property, a standalone shower in the master ensuite and one over the bath in the main bathroom, the description and photos are very clear in describing this. I would be grateful if you could reach out and identify the beds you found to be in uncomfortable positions, while the property can be configured in multiple ways, it hosts even larger groups that yours and we have not received this feedback about the positioning before. Dear Learie, Thank you for your feedback. However, we were not contacted at any point on arrival or during your stay regarding the issues described. As this review has been submitted almost six months after your stay and being the first we hear of these issues, it is unfortunately not possible for us to rectify or even verify whether the photos were taken at the beginning or the end of your five-week booking. Had we been made aware of any cleaning concerns at the start of your visit, this would certainly not have been your responsibility to address. Our housekeeping team would have been sent back immediately to resolve the matter. Regarding the bedroom configurations, these are accurately described and clearly shown in the listing photographs. The property accommodates up to 10 guests regularly with this arrangement, and guests are able to review the layout before booking to ensure it suits their group. We always encourage guests to contact us during their stay if anything is not as expected so that we can address it promptly and ensure they have the best possible experience, otherwise, we are happy that most guests have a highly rated stay at this property.

Hi Gillian, Thanks for the review. I confirm that there is no lawn at the property, as advertised, although there are a great number of country walks that go straight from the property, perfect for dogs. As mentioned in the response to your other review, the owner is looking into hanging options and the beds are always updated when needed. Kind regards, Tim.

Dear Gillian, Thank you for your feedback and glad you found the property well equipped. We have passed your feedback onto the owner to look into some towel hangers and toilet roll holders as well as the areas that feel dark - its not something myself or my colleagues have experienced on our visits to the property so far, although it has always been daylight. Everyone has different preferences with mattresses, so it is often difficult for owners to pitch this, although the mattresses themselves are not that old.
