Our family of four stayed here for three nights in August. It was perfect for our stay in Estoril/Cascais. The views from the balcony seating area were stunning! Everything we needed was provided and the hosts were helpful and responsive.

Mount Estoril stay

The location is ideal. Few but very good restaurants around. People at the property were very nice and helpful. The apartment was perfect for us.

Million dollar view

My family of 3 stayed here for seven nights for a destination wedding. The place was clean and just as described. The views were absolutely amazing! Management was very responsive and helpful throughout the trip. My only suggestion would be to stock enough supplies for the length of the stay, such as toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. Aside from that, the place was perfect and I highly recommend it. We would absolutely stay here again.

I was happy with everything but VRBO a message was sent that I was not booked as long as I was and made me very upset and I was afraid of not being able to stay the host was wonderful and helped me with this when VRBO was not helpful at all that made my last days very upsetting

First of all, the view was amazing! The host, Cassie was very responsive at first and easy to work with - the best management experience in the beginning. Not so much on the back end of the stay. The bedding was terrible with the primary bed being so hard that you could not sleep on it, just as other reviewers reported. The other bedroom had two small beds where we ended up sleeping were like camp beds at a children’s camp. There are several light bulbs that should be replaced, including two in the bathroom. The shower door does not close properly, causing water to get on the floor. The sliding doors from the living room to the patio should be adjusted as the do not close properly after being fully opened. And finally there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms. I believe the listing on VRBO is a bit misleading as it simply says “air conditioning” but that’s only in the living room. We tried to sleep with the windows open but because it was so windy, the art fell off the wall and the window shades kept beating against the window. None of this created a calm sleeping environment. We purchased a fan for air flow. We were excited about our two week stay here but were so disappointed that we checked into a nice hotel for the last 4 nights so we could enjoy the remainder of our vacation.

Beautiful Views and Great Location

The apartment is small and quirky, but it has beautiful views and is in a great neighborhood. Cassie, the property manager, is excellent to work with. We rented a car, and the drive to Cascais is only a few minutes, Lisbon is just 25 minutes away, and Sintra is only 10 minutes away. The drawbacks of this place is that for non-smokers, the smoke smell is terrible. I guess we had overlooked that smoking is allowed in this apartment. Also, the mattress in the main bedroom is very hard, which made sleeping uncomfortable for my husband who has back pain. Overall, though, it worked well for our week in Portugal.

Hello Walt, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review - much appreciated. With regards to the smoke smell, it may have come from the fireplace. We have a no-smoke policy in all our apartments. We will try and establish if the previous guest perhaps broke these rules - it is so hard to police! Regarding the mattress, this is the first time we have a guest who feels that the mattress is too hard. Definitely something we will monitor in the future but unfortunately some like it hard and some like it soft...hard to please all. I am happy though that overall you enjoyed your stay in Portugal!

Wonderful agency

The apartment has an extrodinary view of the oceanside, is located within an easy 10 minute walk to the town center of Estoril, the trian station and the beach. It has an evelvator and air conditioning!. The agency managing the apartment was supurb . Answered texts or calls within 5 minutes, even when I locked myself out. Were always helpful and courteous. The apartment has some issues and needs to be updated. Also would recommend no more that 2 adults and one child as the apartment is quite small. There were 4 of us and it was difficult to move around. And as another reviewer stated the large bed matress was hard as rocks. but we fixed that by moving one of the matresses from the other room to put on top.
