Greater London: Ferienunterkünfte am See

For us (two adults and one child just turning 17 during the stay) both the location, Sonia's warm personal welcome (including several small, fresh flower arrangements and a fruit basket, some breakfast basics and also a white wine which we just didn't manage to drink) and the personal touch of the three bedroom-apartment were perfect. All three of us could sleep very well. Of course, you could hear a bit of the street life and the trains - which did not disturb us in the least. The dining / kitchen area is nicely designed and equipped with everything you need. The living room is very comfortable to sit - and also to watch TV or to read one of the many London guidebooks. You have personalized cushions everywhere and, of course, large paintings in the dining room area and in the hallway. Our own house is quite old, and we simply love older houses with a character of their own. On the next occasion we would very much like to come again.

Schöne, gemütliche Souterrainwohnung in ruhiger Lage im eleganten Stadtteil Kensington von wo aus man London perfekt erkunden kann. Holly und Jürgen sind überaus freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeber und wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

We stayed with a family of 4 in this place. If you are in an age which allows you to use the stairs, as we were, then you have a spacious quiet place, good location to do sightseeing and to find good restaurants and cafes. Very friendly and supportive communication.

We had a great stay in this apartment! It is very comfortable, has everything you need (kitchen, washing machine, TV,...) and has a perfect location. We could reach a lot on foot and the train/tube station is also very close. Nevertheless, the area is relatively quiet, which was very pleasant. Damien is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this rental!

Die Wohnung liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Trafalgar Sqare und der Charing Cross Station entfernt. Im Erdgeschoss sind eine große Küche und ein großes Wohnzimmer. Im Souterrain sind 3 Schlafzimmer sowie eine Nische mit Bett. Ausreichend Platz für 6-7 Personen. Das Masterschlafzimmer hat ein en-suite Bad und es gibt ein weiteres Badezimmer. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Ausstattung ist insgesamt sehr gut. Die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein, war für die 4 Tage okay. Der check-in war etwas holprig, da die Agentur beim ersten Anruf meine Reservierung nicht finden konnte. Deshalb die Punktabzüge. Grundsätzlich kann ich die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Very comfortable townhouse in a nice area! A lot more was provided in the house than we had expected and an informative brochure about the house, the area and things to do in London was sent to us before our stay which was very helpful. We can really recommend this place. Ein sehr komfortables Stadthaus in einer schoenen Gegend! Im Haus wurde mehr zur Verfuegung gestellt, als wir erwartet hatten und vor unserer Reise bekamen wir vom Vermieter eine Broschuere mit Informationen zum Haus, zur Gegend und London generell zugeschickt, was sehr hilfreich war. Unser Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert.
