San Gimignano: Ferienunterkünfte mit Whirlpool

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary there with friends and would do it again. The villa is as described. The pool is high quality and everything is very tastefully decorated. The location and the view are marvellous. Hikes were possible directly from the villa. We also had Maria as our cook and Sandro as our pizza chef. Both were great and spoilt us with their dishes. As it was unfortunately already too cool for us to eat outside in the evenings and mornings, we sat in the living room of the ground floor flat. For our guests who had their rooms there, it was a bit noisy in the morning when Maria was preparing breakfast. It was also very cramped in terms of space. This would not have been the case if we had been able to sit outside in the warm weather.

I loved our stay very much and I hope I'll come back one day. What I enjoyed the most is the stunning view of the Tuscan landscape from the lovely terrace of our charming, perfectly positioned, stone-&brick- built villa, and the privateness of the property. The hosts, Dante and Rosanna were very sweet and kind and Cinzia was very helpful with her English. All in all, we had unforgettable six days in Casale Rosanna!

Beautifully located villa. Very nice hosts with excellent service. Very suitable for families with children of different ages. Car necessary.

Ganz großes Lob an Gabriel und sein ganzes Team ! Wir haben schon viele Häuser in Italien gesehen und besucht . Die Villa Iris ist auf jeden Fall mit das sauberste in dem wir wohnen durften . Hinzu kommt eine wunderbar ausgestattete Küche , ein erholsamer Aussenbereich und ein bestens gepflegter Garten . Wir kommen gerne wieder . The house is indeed very very special. The view at San Gimignano is outstanding and the pool is the best pool we have ever seen. The area around San Gimignano is beautiful. You can visit Florence, Sienna and Volterra within an hour drive - and just walk through the vineyards to San Gimignano. Caterina and Gabriel are perfect hosts and incredibly nice and welcoming. We enjoyed a cooking class in the outside kitchen which was spectacular. We will certainly come back. Arne (with family)
