Mais sus tout avoit la queue horrible, car elle estoit, poy plus poy moins, grosse comme la pile Sainct Mars, auprĂšs de LangĂšs, et ainsi quarrĂ©e, avecques les brancars ny plus ny moins ennicrochĂ©z que sont les espicz au bled.â (François Rabelais, Gargantua, XVI). La pile est un haut Ă©difice (29,50 m), de base carrĂ©e, construit en brique. Elle prĂ©sente des motifs gĂ©omĂ©triques Ă la partie supĂ©rieure de sa face sud, du cĂŽtĂ© Loire. Des fouilles rĂ©centes ont permis la dĂ©couverte des restes d'une terrasse du cĂŽtĂ© nord, d'un bĂątiment et d'une statue identifiable Ă la reprĂ©sentation d'un captif oriental. L'ensemble, fin IIe siĂšcle ou dĂ©but du IIIe, semble confirmer l'identification du monument Ă une pile funĂ©raire. The stack of Cinq-Mars is a stack of Roman funerary second or third century. The stack is mentioned for the first time by Rabelais. The stack is a high building (29.50 m), square base is constructed of brick. It has geometric patterns in the upper part of its south side, near Loire. Recent excavations have uncovered the remains of a terrace on the north side of a building and a statue identifiable representation of a captive Eastern. Das cottage war einzigartig, die Einrichtugn hatte alles und mehr was man in einem Ferienhaus benötigt. Anne und Michel Lebrun sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Ideen von Anne, welche Schlösser in direkter Umgebung man unbedingt anschauen sollte, waren super. Die Kommunikation war auf englisch und französisch problemlos möglich! Der beheizte Pool lÀd jeden Tag zum planschen und schwimmen ein und wird tÀglich gereinigt. Ein rundum perfeker Urlaub an der Loire!
