Rathdrum: Häuser

The marvellous Landscape, absolutly helpfull Landlady Jenny and her brother gave us the felling of staying in a kind of home. Wicking-flowers and a handfull of eggs on the table (the feathered ladies had been in the mood to spend us) are a perfect start in a place of heartfull athmosphere.A place to come back...

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Granary Cottage sehr genossen. Das Inserat entsprach voll dem, was wir vorgefunden haben. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Region bietet viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten für Familien.

A delightful place to stay in a beautiful and serene landscape.

We really enjoyed our time on the alpaca farm. The local people were very helpful. The farm is somewhat remote. This makes the environment very quiet and safe for children. We particularly enjoyed feeding the alpacas. Joe's explanations here were very helpful and interesting. I will never again think about whether I have a llama or an alpaca in front of me 😉 There is a lovely Fairytrail as well with Lots to discover. The relatively short journey to Dublin airport was also very practical for us. We'd love to come back.

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig und sicher in einem abgeschlossenen Quartier. Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt benötigt. Gutes WLAN, Satelitten-TV, DVD, komplette Küchenausstattung (die Bratpfannen könnten vielleicht mal ersetzt werden) genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten (da wir uns ein 180cm-Bett gewöhnt sind und uns die irischen Doppelbetten zu klein sind, haben wir im unteren Zimmer mit den zwei Einzelbetten geschlafen). Es gibt zudem einen Gasgrill, den wir aber nicht benutzt haben, da das Wetter nicht so ideal war. Dafür gibt es zwei Pubs/Restaurants in der Nähe, die gutes Essen bieten. Super ist natürlich der Strand, der ganz nah ist. Wir hatten Kontakt mit Ken per Whatsapp. War alles gut erklärt und geregelt, so dass er nicht extra vorbeikommen musste. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.
