Sehr sehr netter Empfang, tolle Umgebung, sehr großes Haus. Viele Bäder, komplette Ausstattung auch in der Küche.

We´ve visited Ireland and certainly Nell´s farmhouse for the first time. And we were very excited about it. Authentic and charming are the right expressions for this location. It is situated in a tremendous scenery with green and vast meadows and in front of the impressive Comeragh Mountains. The farmhouse is comfortable and comes up with everything one really needs to have a nice vacation. It is also clean and tidy. We´ve slept so, so good, which is also important...And the farmhouse comes also up with some kind of luxury: a hot tab, as unique as the farmhouse ifself. Mary and Ger were very, very friendly. They helped us with any problem we had. And we´ve had more than only a quick glance on a farmers work.Ger was very open and told us several things about the work on his dairy farm. Nell´s farm house is also a very good place, if you want to reach the southern shore of Ireland and several of the very interesting place to go: Ormond Castle (unfortunately closed at the moment due to renovation), Comeragh Mountains with Mahon Falls, Hook Head, Kilkenny and Rock of Cashel. Even Cork is not that far away for a one day visit. To summarize our journey to Nell´s farmhouse: We´ve been there for only one week, but we really want to come back. And for sure, we will come back one day for longer than only for one week. So, 5 of 5 points is the right rating.
