La Chapelle-au-Mans: Häuser

We had four lovely days at that place. We were 15 people and the Menoir was very spacious and comfortable. The sleeping rooms on the first and second floor are big and bright with a lovely view. Actually there was enough choice of rooms as the Menoir hast 14 sleeping rooms and all are prepared but they rent only 8. There is an older man, Antoin, who is taking care of the Menoir and is always around. Antoin was very nice and very helpful. We asked him to provide us each morning with croissants and rolls, which he happily did. Moreover, he was like an invisible butler, as as long as we were sleeping he was helping with the cleaning from the previous night. Antoin was big help! The camin was working, the grand piano had a great sound, we sang and danced a lot...we disturbed nobody...altogether we really enjoyed it! Some minus points - The Menoir needs some renovation here and there, but I am talking about small fixings. The area is not the most beautiful in France but you can go along the Loire River. Moreover, Churches and Custles are everywhere in the neighbourhood.
