We can only confirm the previous comments! We spent only three days at the place since it was our first time on Crete and we wanted to explore other areas of it during our holidays. But we already hope to have the chance to come back to Kefala and will definitely stay longer to enjoy the peace of the house and its surroundings which was a perfect contrast to busy Berlin city life. The house and the garden has been created with love for detail and appreciation for nature. Johanna is a very kind and forthcoming host, taking care that you will feel comfortable as a guest. We enjoyed most the peaceful view from the roof terrace over olive trees on one side and the mountains on the other. But there are different places to relax, read, have a tea or wine, or just look and listen to the sounds of nature. Johanna told us also very interesting things about the different kinds of trees (and their characters) and other plants and we are already curious to see how everything will have grown in the future. Sehr schönes Objekt. Die Dachterasse mit dem Whirlpool ist ein Traum. Man braucht auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen um die Insel zu erkunden. Dafür ist die Lage des Objekts perfekt. Das notwendigste bekommt man aber auch in dem kleinen charmanten Ort fußläufig besorgt.
