Birr: Bauernhöfe

A memorable stay at Hynes Self Catering. A perfectly located gem in the middle of Ireland. Ideal base for travelling both locally and around Ireland. We covered all parts of Ireland. Lots of lovely castles including Ashford Castle,and traditional Irish pubs to Kylemore Abbey to Powerscourt Waterfall. All trips achievable within a day. Local attractions visited were Leap Castle, River Shannon and Tullamore Dew. The towns of Banagher and Birr hosted many restaurants and bars. JJ Houghs in Banagher is a must to visit. We got some Guinness glasses to take away. A lovely souvenir from Banagher! The Dungeon bar in Kinnitty Castle Hotel is only 20Km away and offers a relaxed atmosphere and well worth a visit! The hosts were warm and welcoming and made sure we were well looked after. Joe provided us with lots of tips for sightseeing and was very attentive and helpful.The house is well equipped and spacious for families and groups of all ages. We highly recommend this property and location.

Der Aufenthalt in Kinnity hat uns sehr gefallen, wir hatten viel Platz und genossen sehr die gemütliche Atmosphäre in dem stilvoll eingerichteten Haus. Unsere Kinder fanden das Haus etwas gruselig, sie haben wohl zu viele Horrorfilme gesehen! Die Küche ist leider etwas schmutzig. Der Vermieter ist diskret und sehr hilfsbereit. Am Ort sind ein kleiner Tante-Emma-Laden , der alles nötige verkauft und ein typisches Pub, das mit Hausschuhen erreichbar ist. Von Kinnity aus kann man wunderbar sternförmig zu Besichtigungen aufbrechen. Es war ein echt schöner Urlaub auf dem prallen Land! Familie B. aus Bayern
