Willkommen in dieser schönen Kellerwohnung direkt am berühmten West Side Wine Trail! Mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem Doppel-Futon und einem auf Anfrage erhältlichen Reisebett im großzügigen Schlafzimmer ist Platz für die ganze Familie! Da drei Weingüter und der See alle zu Fuß erreichbar sind, kommt garantiert jeder auf seine Kosten. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, unter anderem mit einer Heißluftfritteuse, einem Toasterofen, einer Doppelkochplatte und einem Grill auf der Terrasse, sodass ihr eure Mahlzeiten auch draußen genießen könnt. Nachdem ihr den ganzen Tag das Okanagan erkundet habt, kehrt zurück auf die größte, bequemste Couch, auf der ihr je gelegen habt, und macht es euch mit einem Buch gemütlich, schaut euch eine DVD an oder genießt ein Glas Wein auf eurer privaten Terrasse, während ihr auf den See blickt. Bitte beachtet, dass es sich um eine Kellerwohnung handelt und wir hier wohnen, sodass ihr tagsüber etwas Lärm von oben hören werdet.

As with previous guests we found the location excellent for wine tastings in the area. The space was clean and tidy. Although a little dated it was great value for the price. Definitely some noise from the tennents above however not a problem in the later evening hours. Overall a positive experience would rent this space again

Location and cleanliness were great. However, this property only has one bed. It does not comfortably fit four adults. There is no dishwasher, condiments, or anything extra other than a very small sample size of shampoo and conditioner, and not enough towels for each person. Furthermore, we were woken up early each morning by baby crying, dog whining/barking, and could constantly hear people walking around upstairs. We were denied use of the pool right outside our entrance and the patio we were permitted to use was very dirty. We did not spend much time in the VRBO and would not rent this property again.

There is no way to even access to the pool from the suite deck…. So I’m not sure why you thought it would be included. You would have to come through our house to get to it so to assume that is extremely ridiculous. We also do not advertise a pool in the listing. And we do not have that kind of liability insurance to allow guests in our own personal pool. If you needed more towels or shampoo a quick message would have let me know and I could have brought you what you needed. Try communicating a bit and you might be surprised how well it works. Also, I am VERY straightforward that we live here and you will hear us in our listing as well as very straightforward about the beds in the suite. You might want to pay more attention to the places you book to ensure the space meets what you need. If you don’t want to hear people upstairs I suggest you don’t rent a basement suite.

Perfect place!

Was within 5 minutes of any stores we needed, and was in a very peaceful neighbourhood. Having a full kitchen and BBQ was also very nice, so was the outdoor space.

Thank you for your review. And you’re welcome for getting you in so early. As for the photos, the only differences are minor changes in decor. The furniture and layout of the space is very much the same. And we like to keep it simple so that we can keep the prices reasonable so I apologize if you felt it was dated but it’s an economical place to stay so we feel that compensates for fancy decor :) Hope you had a great time at the half corked marathon!

Located in a quiet residential area. Nice views from side patio. It is located on a hill, thus, a car is needed to get anywhere (cafes/restaurants). Worked well for us.

Good place to sleep

I was hoping for a little bit of a view, but it is a back basement studio with windows to the neighbors house to the side instead of the lake. The place was clean and cozy. It is great if you are just there to come, sleep, and leave for the day.

The basement suite is very big and comfortable. We loved the massive couch and the DVD collection for our quiet Sunday night after a busy weekend at the wineries and visiting family. The private patio was nicer than we expected, just beware of the pool splash zone! hahahaEasy access, great AC, and ideal parking right in the driveway. We would recommend for sure at the very fair price.

This place was great (esp considering the price point). This is a SPACIOUS basement suite. Everything clean and functional. There isn't a stove (that I remember, also I didn't cook...) but the kitchen is completely decked out with every appliance you could want (hot plate, instant pot, kettle, toaster etc), a full sized fridge and a full complement of glasses/dishes. Super important - the bed is very comfortable. There is an outdoor deck that has a fantastic view of the lake. This is at the end of a cul-de-sac with off-street parking included (big bonus). Very quiet and secure location. It is 15-20mins from downtown and this is what I wanted. The only heads-up comment I would make is that (like any basement suite) you can hear footsteps above you (incl the bedroom). Voices barely audible so no biggie, but if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. I didn't wear any plugs and I slept just fine. Highly recommend.

Great Location and views

Great location with close proximity to many of the West Kelowna vineyards. The place was comfortable and a great hub to many activities. Vineyard tours/ tasting, walking food/spirits tours in Kelowna, steam engine rail in Summerland, strolling the lakeside walk in Peachland and sailing out of Penticton. I found all within 5-45 minutes of the location. And a lot of great hiking with vistas to make the trek a treat. I will definitely be back.

Cute spot in West Bank near lots of wineries!

This location is perfect if you are looking to do lots of winery tours and want to be in a quieter location as opposed to the bustle of downtown. It's a 15 minute drive to downtown Kelowna (provided the bridge is clear) and it's a good idea to have a vehicle if you plan on getting around from place to place as Ubers don't apparently come to West Bank! The unit itself was clean, spacious, had a beautiful patio, and is perfect for dogs, had I brought my pup out with me! Check in was super easy, the host was great at communicating, and it was overall a great stay!
