CASA AVILA combines a rich history with a desirable Old Town location. Located two blocks from both the waterfront and Duval Street, this beautiful home is considered one of Old Town's original Grande Dames and proudly displays a historical preservation star. CASA AVILA was Key West's first prominent art gallery and one of the original homes in Old Town to be restored.
The home belonged to prominent local artist Stephen Avila. The renovations and decor were carefully curated to reflect the compelling history of this remarkable property. From the high ceilings, to the Dade County Pine, to the private pool, CASA AVILA truly checks every box one could hope for in a vacation rental. This home features a king bedroom on the first floor, with two bedrooms upstairs each with its own en-suite. The kitchen has been beautifully crafted and features everything youâll need to prepare even the grandest of meals. THE LOCATIONâŠ
CASA AVILA is located a few blocks from the Historic Seaport and only a couple blocks from World-Famous Duval Street. Situated on a popular two-lane street, this private home is a short stroll from everything Old Town has to offer. Whether youâre looking to spend the day on Duval Street or watch the boats come and go at the seaport, youâll be there in a few minutes. This home does not include off-street parking.
THE KITCHEN & LIVING AREAâŠ
The living area is plucked straight from the early twentieth century; from the beautiful Dade County pine walls to the French doors that fill the space with natural light. This living area features comfortable seating for visiting and creating new memories. There is a large flat-screen TV to gather around for the big game or to binge-watch your favorite show. Thereâs a full bathroom on the first floor with a walk-in shower.
The kitchen has been lovingly crafted and is the perfect blend of historic feel with modern touches. The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances and every cooking tool needed to prepare meals at home. The indoor dining table comfortably seats eight, and thereâs additional seating at the kitchen bar.

Step out the French doors from the living area and into your private tropical oasis. The entire backyard is fenced-in and landscaped. The refreshing private dip pool can be utilized year-round thanks to the convenient heater. Treat your group to a poolside BBQ of todayâs fresh catch using the propane grill. There is seating at the outdoor bar with a passthrough window to the kitchen for easy transfer of those afternoon snacks and evening cocktails. Donât be afraid to challenge your friends and family to a game of darts, loser buys the first round on Duval!
