Rustic log cabin vibes, beautiful view immersed in nature. Perfect for taking a step away back in time to days of camp. Would recommend for quiet seeking getaway- watching sunsets, listening to the birds, fishing or paddling around the peaceful lake.

Nice shallow, sandy area for swimming.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The correspondence with agency was a bit confusing. Had to request address & details regarding check-in. Cabin was rustic but had everything we needed. Reminded me of my grandparents place, growing up.Swimming was perfect for our grandson as it was a shallow, sandy & quiet lake. Wish we’d stayed longer. Close to Torch, Elk & other lakes too.Dock could use some work & wish there were fewer weeds & rocks near dock, so getting into water was easier for 70 year old grandparents, but we made it work. Overall, a nice family getaway.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an old cabin and looks as such. It is clean- has the basic amenities and is a great peaceful location to explore the area. The dock is aged and the resident duck's use it quite a bit so not necessarily a barefoot beach dock area but the sunsets are wonderful and the water is nice once you het out a bit.

Not "NEW"

The cabin is listed NEW in its title. It is far from new. Its not a bad cabin if you just want peace and quiet, but know there is not WIFI, TV's or AC. The cabin as a whole was clean but the sofa bed was DISCUSTING!! The lake was very peaceful!! DISDISCUSSING

Perfect Up North Cabing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I rented this cabin for a few days and loved it. We brought our dog, who had a great time in the shallow water in front of the cabin. There is no air conditioning, and it did get a little warm during the day, but the nights were fine. We had one box fan and there is a ceiling fan, but one more fan would have been nice. The cabin was clean and the location is great. There is a fire pit to have a bonfire, but we didn’t get the chance to use it. The roof is tin and when it rains, it’s quite loud, but I liked the noise. Overall a great find for northern Michigan!

Location is great. Open the door and you are only a few feet from the water. Cabin is very rustic. The queen bed is comfortable and I slept well. The bunk bed mattresses were not and had trouble sleeping. We had everything we needed.
