Our family had a great stay! Loved the close proximity to the pond. The house was comfortable, enjoyed the porch! Owners were good about communicating when there was a need and with resolving issues.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and we met many friendly neighbors as we took our morning walks. The hosts were very responsive, considerate and gave great suggestions for where to go! The beaches were beautiful and we would definitely recommend this house for a family!

The host was very friendly and easily available to communicate via text. The kitchen was well stocked with items to eat and cook with. The bedrooms were all neat and tidy with plenty of linens and space for our family.

Great Stay

My family and I had an amazing stay here. Everything was clean and well stocked. Our favorite part was the binder with recommendations for food and activities close by. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Cape.

Great vacation home

Home was spacious clean had all we needed to cook. Enjoyed the lake access for swimming. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to the Cape.

All comforts of home

We had a wonderful time ! House was clean and well stocked . Owners were very responsive and informative . Quick walk to lake beach and kayaking. Close to ferry for a trip to Martha’s Vineyard for the day! Great experience .

Wonderful

Clean, beautiful space with nice bedrooms and common areas to spread out in. Kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies. Communication with the property manger was timely and helpful.

Welcome Home!

Our group enjoyed this home so much. Plenty of room to spread out and hang out. As I told the owner the favorite spot was the lovely screened in porch! We spent most of our time visiting out there. The house is well appointed, with instructions for certain appliances which are super helpful. When we walked in the house we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a bag of Cape Cod Chips! Such a nice touch!

The house was attractive and we liked the location and easy access to John’s pond with great swimming and kayaking/canoeing. A few upgrades would make the property much more desirable. Communication could be improved. The property management company Evolve never responded to our question regarding beach towels. Communication with the owners was much better (they reached out separately). The AC situation could be better (we were there for the very hot July 4th weekend). There was no AC in the living room; the only AC on the first floor was in the first-floor bedroom. The basement did not have AC at all but just 2 de-humidifiers (one in the living area and one in the bedroom) which did not provide cooling. The mattresses in the basement could be much better. The one in the bedroom was high on one side which meant whoever slept on that side would roll into the middle, so the queen bed was really a bed for one. The mattress for the sofa bed was super thin and only a fitted (not a top sheet) was provided. The BBQ grill could be upgraded. It was so small (for a house that accommodates 8 persons) that for every BBQ dinner we had to grill multiple shifts. Finally, the common practice (as in other rental houses) of providing plentiful dishwashing and washing tablets would have been much appreciated and obviated the necessity of us supplementing them.

We value open communication with our guests, and our property manager is always available to assist with any needs during their stay. Regarding the cooling system, your visit unfortunately coincided with a period of unusually high temperatures. Under more typical summer conditions, the bedroom units and fans throughout the home are designed to help maintain a comfortable environment. Our property manager also inspected the lower-level bed after your stay. The frame, box spring, and mattress had been recently replaced, and it appears a slat may have shifted out of place. We take your comments seriously and value the opportunity to continue improving the guest experience.

Overall it was a good experience. The house was clean and in a good location for us. We were a bit frustrated that the three ac window units struggled to keep the house comfortable during the heat wave. There were some fans which helped a little but it was still uncomfortable especially in the bedroom on the lower level. Again, overall it was a good experience.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was neat and cozy. The check in and check out process was easy. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed for our weekend stay. It was a nice surprise to arrive and find a welcome basket which had a bottle of wine, Cape Cod chips, and a souvenir mug. We received excellent communication from the owner before and during our stay our stay. She offered us an early check in and late check out which was greatly appreciated. WE would stay in this home again.
