Die großen Glasfenster bieten einen Blick auf die großen Kiefern und den See. Die Kabine verfügt über WLAN und Streaming-HD-TV.

Das Chalet Sunset View befindet sich am Ende einer privaten Feldweg gelegen, mit nur 3 anderen Haus, so dass die Einstellung ist relativ privat. Das Dock ist direkt vor dem Haus und ist mit unserer Cabin Sunset View geteilt.

Dieses Anwesen befindet sich neben unserer Sunset View Cabin (Homeaway. Com # 4137262) und unserem Antler Ridge Chalet (Homewaycom # 387264). Alle Objekte können für größere Veranstaltungen, Familientreffen usw. gemietet werden!

We had an absolutely fantastic lake getaway! The property was very clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. All of the appliances were in great working order, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the entire place made it easy to relax and enjoy our time at the lake.We had a blast from start to finish and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. This property could easily be a 5. The inside of the house is clean and as described. There are great sunsets too. The outside of the house is the negative. The grounds need a weed wacker and a lawn mower. The firepit area was dirty and a bit unsafe. The dock has seen better days and to some extent the waves from boats and lake traffic seem to make the dock more shaky and unstable. Certainly not a dock to enjoy sitting on. Owner needs to invest in the outside and this property could be overall great.

Hi Rich, Thanks for coming up to the chalet and thank you for your notes on the grounds. I am sorrybyou experienced the issue with the lawnand firepit. I have contacted my property manager, landscaper and cleaning crew and relayed your notes. I wish you had contacted me during your stay so we could have addressed these items. Regarding the dock, potential guests should be aware that all of the docks on Lake Wallenpaupack are floating docks, which need to be removed in the fall and reinstalled in the spring. Because they are floating docks, they are subject to movement, especially during storms or when boats pass too quickly or too closely to the shore. Please see the photos of the dock which accurately reflect its size and shape.

First time ever renting a house and it went great. It was a small incline to the fire pit and not a lot of steps to the lake. The doc worked out perfect to keep our boat and to do some fishing. Plenty of room and central AC made it very comfortable. The fan with the tall ceiling kept everything very cool. Loved the wrap around porch over looking the fire pit overlooking the lake Sunset were amazing. WiFi was not the best but we are up in the mountains and it worked just slow. Lots of parking and really close to grocery store and other activities and stores. We had Amazing time!

Excellent lake house

This vacation rental home was in an excellent location. The house was very clean, the kitchen had everything that we needed for meal preparation. The path down to the dock was a little steep and rocky. Would not be good for anyone with ambulatory problems. It was wonderful to be right on the lake and have our boat at the dock.The only thing that would have been better was if the rental had a washer and dryer. That would not prevent us from renting this home again however!

Thanks again for your stay. I apologize that you felt the chalet was not clean. I wish you had contacted us during your stay as the legitimate issue you wrote about in our guest reflection book could have been addressed quickly, if you had made us aware of it. In this case it was a worn-out mattress cover that needed to be replaced. We happened to see your note in the guest book at the house several days after you checked out, and we immediately purchased new mattress covers for all of the beds. We have a property manager and cleaning crew available, and we encourage our guests to contact us if any issues arise and we try to respond quickly. We want to make sure everyone has a great stay and certainly feel terrible when we learn that a guest was disappointed after a stay, and we had no opportunity to address their concern.

Lake front getaway

The home was clean, organized and the ideal location for a family getaway on the lake. The dock was perfect for watching sunsets and swimming or tubing. The fire pit was wonderful for family time in the evening. We hope to come back.

Reunion at the lake

The place was nice. Close to the water with a dock. It was nice sitting around the firepit at night. Great view of the stars from the dock, too. The house was nice but not overly nice. Some small investments from the owners would make this a five star - a stable coffee table, comfortable single beds, kayaks....but overall, nice stay.

Hi David, Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the constructive review. I tightened the bolts on 2 of the coffee table legs. I also picked up 2 inch memory foam mattress toppers for the 2 twin mattresses. This way guests can go either firm or soft with the 2 twins. Sorry, our insurance company does not permit us to provide watercraft, but there are several rental facilities nearby for kayaks and motorboats, where you can rent by the hour, day or week, and they allow you to tie up to our dock. I hope we get a chance to host you and your friends again in the future. Best Regards, David

Hi Ann, Thanks for coming up to the chalet! For those of you who have never been to Lake Wallenpaupack, it is a man made lake with a rip wrap shoreline, which is a rocky shoreline. All of the docks are floating docks, which mean they move with the activity of the waves. The dock is also moved out toward the lake throughout the summer, as the lake level is lowered. This means you never know exactly how deep the water is off the end of the dock, so diving is not a good idea. From late October to May, all docks must be removed from the lake. We recommend that people wear water shoes anywhere around the lake, as the rocks and dock can be slippery when wet. We installed a swim ladder to get on the dock, which is helpful for dock swimming. For me, the best recreation is tying a tube to the dock and relaxing with a refreshing beverage!

Beautiful Lake Views

David and the property manager, Jennifer, both responded quickly and made us feel welcome! From the second we turned the key we felt comfortable and at home. The sunset views over the lake were stunning! Its hard to please teenagers. My 17 year old son and 18 year old niece were both so content and at peace sitting by the water and fire pit. So many deer visited us too. A++

We have 2 homes on Lake Wallenpaupack which are available for rental. Both are lakefront and located right next to each other. Each has different characteristic that makes it special. We fell in love with this special spot on Lake Wallenpaupack because of the spectacular sunsets over the very wide expanse of the Lake. The views stretch across lake which is over a mile across.

We are located on one of the most scenic areas of the lake, providing the setting for spectacular sunsets from the dock. Private setting at the end of our small private road, parking right next to house and no cars driving by except your own, yet close to many restaurants and area attractions.
