The ZenDen Cottage is a classic style cottage. Its well placed at the end of the famous Gull River/mouth of Gull Lake where great boating/fishing await.

The ZenDen is a place to relax, unwind and let the stress of the city behind you. Its surrounded by mature trees, wildlife and sounds of the water. The multilevel deck hosts a 20 foot platform which is a great place to meditate and let your day begin.

Zen Den Cottage is in very close proximity (5 min drive) to local amenities.
There is a Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons, Gas Station, Beer Store, LCBO all within 8km.

​There a few restaurants close by and Boshkung Brewery and Dominion are local favourites. As we are located on Gull River you can also drive your boat right into these restaurants directly from cottage.​
The famous Kawartha Dairy original location is a 5 minute drive and is a great spot for an ice cream.

The Gull Lake is great for fishing where you will find both shallow and deep locations that host Bass, Muskie, Trout and some Pickerel.

​As we are located on the very end of the Gull River and mouth of Gull Lake, the steady water flow means crystal clear water free of weeds. Great swimming right off the dock and take your tube into town a float down the river right to our cottage! (About an hour float ride)

​The cottage has 3 well placed bedrooms. 2 with double beds and one with a queen.
The bunkie that has 2 double beds. Sleeping 10 people very comfortably. All amenities of home including water purification system, fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and large family dining room that seats 6.

It also has a fully screened in sunroom which is a beautiful place to have a morning coffee or look at the stars with our well placed telescope. The cottage has a full tub and shower. The cottage has a dryer for drying your bathing suites, it does not have a washer.

​This is a place for a quiet and peaceful retreat. We have surrounding property owners in close proximity who all share in that respect of the surrounding area. Please no parties.

You will have full access to the cottage, bunkie, fire pit, dock. Boat not available for rental.

There are 55 steps to get to dock. Depending on the day and water levels from the Trent you may have a current in water, but still very swimmable for most kids/teens/adults who are stronger
swimmers, it will be difficult with a toddler but we do have a sandy wading area beside the dock. Thousands of people come to the Gull to swim or tube its river.

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO BOOKING. UNAPPROVED ANIMALS AT COTTAGE WILL INCUR A $500 PENALTY.
