Großer Platz in einer tollen Gegend. Das Hotel liegt im Lake Morton Historic District, und in der Nähe so gut wie alles. Das Haus ist ein Studio (so dass die einzige Privatsphäre im Bad), befindet sich direkt hinter unserem Haus, mit einer Küchenzeile und eine schöne Größe Bad und Dusche. Die beiden Sofas sind wandelbar Ikea Sofas, die zu Queen-Size-Betten ausklappen und sind ein wenig auf der festen Seite, aber recht komfortabel. Außerdem gibt es ein traditionelles Queensize-Bett. Es gibt eine große, private Terrasse hinter dem Haus. Wir leben in der Haupt nach Hause, und die Hütte ist eine völlig separate Struktur. Zwar gibt es einige gemeinsame Bereiche außerhalb sind, leisten wir Ihnen so viel Privatsphäre wie Sie wünschen.

Florida Southern College ist zwei Blocks entfernt, und es gibt nicht wenige Orte in unmittelbarer Nähe zu essen und zu trinken. Detroit Tigers Spring Training ist 10 Minuten entfernt und Sun N Fun ist etwa 20 Minuten von diesem Ort.

Great Place

Really appreciated the host. This place is within walking distance of town and two nice lakes, probably more. Just don’t get mixed up on which lake. I walk around one lake twice looking for a church on the other lake. Ok, it was beautiful. I also admit I liked going to the library every morning. No, not for the books but for the coffee and seeing people. I know there was great coffee provided at the room. Just loved going to the lake a very short walk. Thanks for the great time.

Amazing cozy place to stay

This was a great place to stay with a very helpful and nice host. Just as pictured with everything I needed during my extended stay here. Definitely recommend any stay with Chuck!

Great location if you have a student at Florida Southern!

Very nice cottage. Everything was in excellent working order. It was an easy 2 block walk to the Florida Southern campus. I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute and clean

The "shed" is a very neat little place to stay, especially for a little longer stay. The kitchen and bath were higher end finishes (think Ikea) extremely clean and had everything I needed for a 3 week stay while awaiting an apartment to become available. It was also very private and convenient to Florida Southern College. I had no issues whatsoever and would definitely stay here again if I had a need to do so.

Great place

Perfect location for visiting my son at FSC! I walked the lake & explored Lakeland while he was in class. At night, it was a great place to relax, watch football, grill & just hang out. Chuck was easy to work with. I’ll be back.

Outstanding !!!

I loved this cottage. It is very nice. The neighborhood is super convenient to downtown, Florida Southern, and Southeastern University. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. 10 out of 10 !!!

Loved The Shed!

We enjoyed our stay here while in town to watch our daughter play volleyball at Florida Southern. Very well maintained, nice, clean place to stay. Chuck was very responsive to questions and made it very easy to check in and out!

Great place to spend a long weekend in Lakeland!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here while in town to drop off our daughter at Florida Southern. Very well maintained, nice, clean place to stay while in Lakeland. Chuck was very responsive to questions and made it very easy to check in and out!

It really was a fun Cottage!

I enjoyed my stay I Lakeland. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It is laid out well and has a lot of quality touches. SST appliances are top of the line, colors are modern and tastefully done. The outdoor space is quiet and comfortable. I will stay there again.

Cool place. Perfect for a short or longer stay for 1-3 people. Great location and very nice host.

The town of Lakeland was a surprise. Beautiful architecture and scenery. Several interesting places to hang out. We enjoyed our stay including a game watching the minor league team the Flying Tigers play. If we find our selves in the area again we would definitely stay here.

Exactly What I Needed!

“The Shed” was clean, well kept and had all the amenities anyone could want! The owner , Chuck, was very responsive to any questions and requests. There were plenty of social activities to do within the shed. The patio area was a peaceful place to chill with coffee in the mornings or share an outdoor meal with a friend.

Perfect location and amenities!

The cottage was outstanding! Clean, functional, modern, comfortable, and easily fit 5 people. We used it as a base of operations for Legoland which worked out quite well. Legoland is about a 30 min drive away and Tampa international is about 50 minutes. Additionally, it’s about a quarter mile from a beautiful lake that has a 3 mile jogging trail around it. The owner left the lights on for our late arrival and also made some nice recommendations of events in the area. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Loved the Shed!!

This place is wonderful! Beautifully decorated, clean, quiet historic neighborhood. The main house might be in close proximity to the front door of the cottage; however, the quaint/private patio to the rear of the cottage is an amazing, end of day, relaxing space to enjoy the outdoors. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having all the amenities of home. As stated in other reviews, there is no stove but the hot plates, convection oven/microwave and outdoor grill gives you plenty of options to cook your own food. The cottage is conveniently located to many restaurants, we loved Red Door for Sunday Brunch. Lake Hollingsworth is a short walk with a beautifully paved path for walking/running. Thanks, Chuck! Our stay was amazing, we will definitely be returning.

Wonderful Stay

The property was very clean and had everything we needed (as advertised) in a quiet residential neighborhood. The owner was very accommodating to our arrival and departure times and we enjoyed having the conveniences of home and the choice of making some of our own meals during our short stay in Florida. In addition to the queen size bed I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the firm convertible couches. I would definitely stay again.

Only regret. .. we could not stay longer. This perfect hideaway in tucked in a quiet neighborhood.

Surprisingly, close to everything. Accommodation complete with all you need and more. Don't hesitate to stay here.. very clean, quiet and safe. We plan to return without hesitation.
