Das sonnige, private und geräumige 5-Zimmer-Haus auf der Südseite von San Juan Island ist ein perfektes Wochenende sowohl für den Outdoor-Enthusiasten oder entspannt Reisenden.

Das wunderschön eingerichtete und gut ausgestattete Ferienhaus bietet allen Komfort benötigt, während auf San Juan Island. Sobald Sie die Haustür zu öffnen, werden Sie feststellen, wie viel Sorgfalt in die Herstellung dieses Haus warm gegangen ist, bequem und alles um Entspannung und Spaß in einer der meistgesuchten Region nach Standorten für von ihm immer weg von allem. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe eines zu Fuß zu einem der besten Sandstrände der Insel und die vielen Wanderwege in der amerikanischen Camp ist diese Eigenschaft perfekt für diejenigen, die Insel aktiv oder freut sich auf einige ruhige Insel leben zu wollen, sind.

Der offene Grundriss ist schön mit der Küche, Esszimmer, Medienraum, Wohnzimmer und 3/4 Bad alle auf der Hauptebene gelegt. Es gibt auch ein Schlafzimmer auf der obersten Ebene, ideal für diejenigen, keine Treppen zu benutzen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über bequeme Sofas, hohen Decken und viel Licht von den vielen Fenstern mit Südausrichtung. Das Esszimmer ist mit der Küche verbunden und verfügt über Platz für sechs Personen, mit zwei weiteren Blättern und Stühle für insgesamt acht. Der Zähler Bar bietet Platz für vier Personen und liegt nur zwischen den Ess- und Küchenbereich.

Die Küche verfügt über alle notwendigen Geräte mit einer Mikrowelle, neue Kaffeemaschine, Kaffeemühle, Toaster, Topftopf und ist gut ausgestattet mit allen wichtigen Features für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten ausgestattet, so dass jeder kann kochen zusammen in diesem geräumigen und offene Küche genießen.

Das Obergeschoss verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer, drei kleine Decks, zwei Bäder und ein Yoga-Raum / Büro für Ihren Genuss.

Kinder freuen sich herum im geräumigen Hof und spielen auf dem Schaukel läuft. Sobald die Sonne untergeht, können Sie unter den Sternen sitzen, Marshmallows braten und die Feuerstelle im Freien genießen (Brennholz zur Verfügung gestellt).

Der Mobiltelefonservice ist in dieser Unterkunft in Ordnung, und Ferngespräche mit dem Haustelefon sind kostenfrei gestattet.

Great experience

We loved staying at this property! It was very clean and well stocked with towels and other supplies. Plenty of space for our party of 8 to sleep. The yard is a perfect size for kids to run around and play and the location of the house is walking distance to Eagle cove beach and American camp. Overall we had a great stay!

Lovely Property

I loved how quiet the property was. It is kind off the beaten path, but that was one of the things I loved about it. It's also really close to a great beach that would be perfect for small kids. It was a beautiful house that was really peaceful and spacious with a great front porch that is perfect for your morning coffee!

As we made our way around the curving drive, we were welcomed by a beautiful, spotted deer! The house was clean, quiet and comfortable. The sheets were amazing - Charisma. Nice layout for family time together, as well as private space within each bedroom.

Great quiet get away with some cautions

Property is very quiet and comfortable. However several descriptions are misleading. The tv goes out about every ten minutes fo anywhere from 15 seconds to three minutes. The internet is unreliable. While the description indicates phone service is problematic the internet could not send any size message nor download pictures of any size. The oven is showing its age and slow to reach temperature. Rooms are very large and comfortable.

The porch is perfectly located to watch them while on the swing set. The house floor plan worked amazingly well for our situation. The house was clean and free of clutter you will sometimes find at a rentals and the furniture was newish and free of stains. The locations is a short drive or walk to Eagles Cove so even though it was not water view we actually preferred the private escape. My only request would be for the bunk beds to be repaired as the top bunk railing was cracked which should be an easy fix. We will definitely be back after covid as it would be a perfect spot for out of town grandparents to join us. Thank you for our much needed vacation.

Beautiful house and location.

This property is as pictured and described by the other reviews. Beautiful and nicely equipped house. It is a secluded location at the south end of the island close to many beaches. One can be reached in about a 15 min walk but you mostly need a car to get anywhere else. My only criticism is that the internet is very slow. I ran several speed tests which were between 0.5 and 1.0 Mbps download and a glacial 0.08 Mpbs upload. The router pinged to Centurylink which apparently is the provider. It was stable (no outages) but just consistently slow so OK for email and static web pages but forget video streaming or any work-based video apps like Zoom. Not going to happen. I don't know if that is all that is availkable in this location or if the owners are just paying for a really slow package. Or if there was just something wrong with the connection when we were there. But anyone wanting to do a working vacation in this location should know how slow it is. And the owners would be advised to upgrade it faster speeds are available.

Very comfortable home in a beautiful setting. As stated in other comments, the house is older than it looks in the pictures. The outside trim needs painting and the yard isn’t as pretty when the pictures were taken. We enjoyed seeing deer in the yard, black fox, owls and quail. The downstairs lack window coverings, which felt weird at night. The house is surrounded by a large thicket, so it is secluded, which has pluses and minuses. A great house for a large group of people.

Getting to the island on the ferry was magical and when we pulled up to the home, it was everything we expected. We have a large family with six kids and the home easily accommodated beds for everyone and room for our family to move around. I the house was about 10 minutes south of Friday Harbor so easily accessible and with hiking and beach vistas so close we didn’t travel far from the home. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow, better than imagined!

Absolutely wonderful, quiet private home in beautiful woodlands with wild berries, apple trees, deer and absolute solitude! Walking distance to San Juan National Monument, the beach and just four miles from Friday Harbor, a real 10!!

American Camp area rental

I am very familiar with San Juan Island so I was pleased to find a spacious rental for my family to attend a gathering on the island. There are very few rental houses available with five separate sleeping areas to accommodate an extended family. The yard was large and level and good for small kids to play safely. It was walking distance from American Camp, Eagle Cove, Grandma's Cove and even South Beach (about 2 miles) if you are a walker. We had some trouble with the dishwasher and the property management sent someone out immediately to help with the problem. A view of the water was the only thing that was missing.

Great location with room to spread out

The property is as described, a secluded getaway that’s super close to Eagle Cove beach and American Camp, but to be honest everything is close on an island. the house was appointed well with a rustic feel. The furniture is getting along in the years, but comfy. The outdoor space is great for kids to run around and we made use of the fire pit and grill outside. We saw a couple deer walking through the backyard in the morning. We were traveling with me, my wife, 11yo daughter, 9yo son, 6yo son, and 76yo mother. Mom appreciated the ground floor accommodations. My only recommendation to the owner is to make sure all rugs have the non-slip mats underneath. A couple in the main bedroom almost got me.

Great house, great walks

Overall, we loved the house and our stay…. The house was comfortable, comfortable for family to spread out and relax — as well as to come together for meals and hanging out. The house is located within short peaceful walks to the beach and to American Camp. Good Thanksgiving. Our one concern was the mattress in the primary bedroom…..very uncomfortable. We were a small group so we could choose other beds…with a new mattress there, this would be ideal for our family… (we usually expect an additional person or two…)
