Two Story Boathouse Located On East Side of Lake Simcoe

Two story boathouse that sleeps 4 to 5 comfortably , complete with downstairs king size bed , bathroom and fireplace. The upper part can be accessed from outside or up the spiral staircase. The upstairs has a living area with two coaches, tv, bunkbed with a double and single mattress and a small kitchenette complete with two small fridges. Use of all three decks, upper, middle and bottom and a 50 foot dock while renting the the boathouse. Water accessories like canoe, paddles, paddleboat, floaties are also provided. There is also an outdoor gas BBQ complete with propane , outdoor lounge furniture on all three decks and firepit complete with firewood. If you want to bring your jet ski, there is a jet ski lift available to park overnight and boat launches located in town or over at the marina. At the time of the rental the owner main be up for the weekend staying in the cottage only , but will not access the decks or docks while the boathouse is being rented. If you are interested in the full cottage and boathouse rates can be provided for both . I have made some small changes allowing for more cloths storage , second fridge and spider spraying will be applied three times this summer. I have made the little corrections to help make everyone's stay even more enjoyable.
An outdoor shower was added this year with hot and cold water .
All you need is to bring is yourself and your food and beverages and you will get to enjoy one of the prettiest sides of Lake Simcoe with endless sunsets.

John was a lovely host. Very friendly. If you need anything you just let him know, he is very accomodative. The spot is absolutely lovely. Cozy boathouse living space and access to all the 3 levels of sight over the lake is wonderful. We didn't end up having a fire although there is a metal firepit if you want to use it. Boathouse does not have potable water just water from the lake for washing hands and dishes and toilet use. However John provides as many cases of water as you need for drinking which is extremely helpful. Overall it was a lovely stay. We had some stormy weather for about 1.5 days but made the best of it. There are games he provides in the boathouse and we played a couple on the stormiest day. Went swimming and kayaking when the weather got nicer. Went into town to the pier as well. Very nice spot and lovely area. Pet friendly, if you bring your dog it's a great area to go for a dogwalk. There is a park just up the road that is perfect to bring the dog as well. Overall very pleased and would stay again. Such a lovely little spot and John is a lovely host.

The boathouse was awesome! The view of Lake Simcoe is unbeatable and the sunset was amazing. The water was warm but bring water shoes if you wish to swim near the dock. The host provides lots of water toys to make the lake enjoyable. We will look to return here next season for sure! Thank you John for a great getaway.

What a fantastic location for a couples get away! Everything you would need for a comfortable and relaxing get away. King size bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette had everything we needed. BBQ area was awsome, and we can't say enough about the views,! Amazing sunsets and wide open view of the lake. Sat there for hours! We will definately be back! Thank you John for being a fantastic host!

Awesome place to enjoy sunset. John is a great host. Check in is very simple. The boathouse has everything that you need to have a good time with family or friends. Just one thing if you are afraid of spiders you might think about it. But we really enjoyed the weekend at the boathouse.

Very comfortable arrangement, host is extremely nice and helpful. During the summer months it may get a little hot since there is no ac, but there are multiple fans provided. The water was extremely clear and easy access, with some provided pool floats.Very beautiful and worth the money, highly recommend!

Nice weekend getaway

Everything was great, John was a terrific host and met us there to make sure we knew everything prior to the stay. Location is awesome right on the lake with great sunsets. Tons of bugs but that is to be expected when on the water. Rafts, canoe and everything available to use so no worries about extra packing. We will definitely book again and would recommend this to anyone especially couples. Wifi was a bit spotty but with the lake and the beautiful weather we had there was no need for it!
