The Anchorage Cottage, Pine Point Maine ~ Wonderfully Cozy Cottage on the Water

Welcome to Fisherman's Cove in Pine Point Maine. We offer two beautiful waterfront cottages in Pine Point for summer weekly vacations. Fishermen’s Cove Cottage is a one-story ranch with a cathedral ceiling and huge windows with views of the river and estuary. The Anchorage Cottage is a 2-story cottage with a panoramic view of the river, estuary, and harbor from floor-to-ceiling windows. Both have their own listings on VRBO and other platforms. Please check both cottages for availability.

Our Cottages are right on the waterfront in Pine Point Harbor. They have stunning views including some of the most amazing sunsets you'll ever see! It's just a short walk to the famous Pine Point Beach, 3 miles of beautiful sandy shore which leads to Old Orchard Beach. Pine Point has several fine restaurants and it's only 10 minutes to the amusements in Old Orchard Beach, and 20 minutes to the greater Portland area and the Maine Mall for those occasional rainy days for dining and shopping. There's Fantastic fishing right from the backyard or on the Fisherman's Pier which is just a two-minute walk. Nature lovers will find the Scarborough Marsh an amazing place to explore.

STAYS
We offer seven-night stays from June to September, and full weeks or 3- or 4-night weekends in the transition seasons.
Not all of our guests use a full week but our pricing is based on a 7-night stay during the peak season because weekdays are hard to book. Please select Friday night to Thursday morning even if you will be using fewer nights so your quote is accurate.

FALL - WINTER – SPRING (The “Off-season”)
We cater to the traveling health care professional with a 30-night stay or longer. Send an inquiry for a custom quotation. Shorter stays during these times (weeks, weekends) are at a higher rate than shown online (AirBnB & VRBO only allow one rate to appear and that is the 30-night minimum rate. We will give you a custom quote. Short-term rates are higher because we deep clean between each guest and have to account for vacancies).

CHECK-IN/OUT
Check-in is Friday afternoon after 5 pm or whenever you choose to arrive. Check-out is Friday morning by 10 am. The cottage is cleaned thoroughly from 10 am to 5 pm on Fridays except when guests stay for 2 or more weeks.

PETS
We accept pets with a modest fee for special cleaning. There are a few breeds of large or heavily-shedding dogs we can't accept, primarily due to allergy sensitivities of cleaning staff and some guests. Please just ask and we will be as flexible as possible. We ask pets stay on the first floor at the Anchorage Cottage and provide a stair gate.

GUEST INFORMATION
We have a Guest Information Booklet we will send you with more details and resources. This will also be printed in a binder at the cottage.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED
We should have everything you need, including bed linens, bath, and kitchen towels. Each bed will have a set of linens with freshly & professionally laundered ones brought each Friday, with each bed made for your comfort. We also provide comforters. You're welcome to provide your own linens if you prefer. We always have backups if needed. We provide towels but you may want your own beach towels.
