The Neighborhood:

Locales call the hip, affluent East Market District as NuLu and the best place to stay in Louisville! This neighborhood is a dining hub with eateries spanning upscale New American cuisine to casual BBQ, plus stylish bars pouring craft beer and bourbon. Shops sell vintage clothing, women’s fashion, gourmet eats or restored furniture. Contemporary galleries stay open late for the monthly First Friday Hop street party, with art shows, live music, shopping and street food.



Getting Around:

The building is a simple on-off the highways. For local excursions, hop on the LouLift – a free, electric bus fleet with onboard wifi that services 4th Street, downtown shopping district, and beyond. Uber and Lyft are never far. For the bold, we encourage the use of the dockless scooters!



Other Things to Note:

Please know that all CozySuites properties are smoke-free environments. Smoking, of any kind, is not permitted within or outside of our suites, including balconies, patios, or common and/or parking areas. Please know that any sign of smoking is a violation of our stay agreement, which may result in immediate termination and recovery fees beginning at $500.

To abide by all legal requirements and HOA rules, you WILL be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Failure to provide these documents will result in a cancellation and denied entry.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

- You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.

- You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.

- You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking.



Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be:

1. 22 years old for out of town guests

2. 25 years old for local guests



No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule.



Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 9pm-8am each day. The home is proactively monitored with decibel sensors for compliance with this noise policy.



Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check.



Note that all guests are required to submit a $150 security hold on a credit card in case of incidentals that is released 3-5 days post check out or may choose a $35.00 non-refundable damage waiver.

Great location and nice complex. We took advantage of the gym. Perfect set up woth each bedroom having a private bathroom. The whole apartment has tall ceilings and wood floors, so adding curtains would do a lot to dampen the echoing sounds. Rugs in the bedrooms would also help with sound. We brought our own towels and that was worth doing as only is provided per guest otherwise. Overall, great value, just reeeeaaaallly could use some curtains. Light came through the blinds at night as well if you need more reason to add curtains.

Louisville Stay

My first warning is the parking garage of this apartment building. They have a contract with a towing company. If your parking pass is not completely visible in your car, it will be towed. Our pass slid off the dash and my vehicle was towed. Keep in mind this is a gated garage, you have to have a card to access the garage door. We had to wait until 11:00am on a Saturday for the tow company to open and pay $165 cash to get our vehicle. This should be something they specifically want guests to know when staying there.

Great Location - Host communication needs work

The location of the Nulu properties are for the most part very clean (except for some drains), brand-new builds that are perfect for those looking for convenience and proximity to wonderful restaurants, funky shops and downtown activities in Louisville. The apartment kitchen was decently stocked with the exception of handtowels and bath mats for the unit. My only issue with the rental was in communication. Pre-check-in communication with Cozy Suites seemed extra cumbersome and the checkin & checkout information was anything but concise and some of it, contradictory. The check-in information was 8 pages long. Confusion over a parking pass led to my car being towed from the apartment's secure and gated garage, incurring a $165 tow charge, an uber ride to the other side of town and the loss of time for what was a less than 48-hour rental. After negotiations with Cozy Suites, they paid for a partial reimbursement. ** If you park in the garage, make sure to take the small paper pass with dates of rental and leave it in a visible spot in your car. After requesting more towels, it took almost 24-hours for them to arrive. My hope is that Cozy Suites can streamline and improve their overall communications and local response time, so that renters can focus on their travel fun.
