(Note: please check with local fire alerts and guidelines). Grab a book or board game and cozy up to one of two gas fireplaces. Watch or join the locals surfing, fishing, crabbing, or agate hunting just steps away from your vacation paradise. Surfboard and kayak rentals are both nearby.

This quiet gem is nestled between Lincoln City and Depoe Bay, famous for whale watching. Within two miles, you’ll find several restaurants and brewpubs (including the farm-to-table Side Door Cafe) and a well-stocked market (with wine, beer, and organics). Other nearby activities offer something for everyone: an 18-hole golf course, Spa and aerial park (at Salishan resort), Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Gleneden Beach State Park, hiking and biking trails, sailing and fishing charters, whale watching excursions, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Chinook Winds Casino, numerous art galleries, fine dining, wine tasting, and outlet shopping.
