Summer Stay The Inn

Summary:

Book the Girraween Country Inn, ideal for groups of family and friends.

All rooms are upstairs at the Inn on the first floor. Guest Lounge with wood heater, small library and games.

All rooms are off the Guest Lounge. In total there are 8 ensuited rooms at the Inn. That is, 5 King ,1 Queen , 1 Twin Bedroom and a Two bedroom Family Room.

Large dining room, kitchen, lounge areas. Self Catering.



The Space:

Dining Room downstairs and full commercial kitchen for your sole use. Dining room seats 18+ people. Self Catering. Functions or Events are allowed, that is weddings or birthday celebrations. Approval will need to be requested, however, dependant on size and event is not a problem and no additional charge, unless there is a clean up fee involved.

All linen provided, no housekeeping unless prior arrangement is requested. Additional charges apply.

Restaurant is closed in Summer. A private Chef can be pre-organised if required. Additional daily rate charges apply.



Guest Access:

Private Access, keys will be inside.

Guest information and Guidebook will be emailed on the day of check in.



The Neighborhood:

Girraween Country Inn Ballandean on the Granite Belt Highlands, an elegant European two storey Inn, nestled in amongst the bushland of the Girraween National Park, known for its spectacular wildflowers, dramatic landscapes and unique wildlife… all right here on our doorstep with direct walking access to the park.

Situated in the heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, Ballandean is a much sought after destination, surrounded by wineries on Eukey road, we are easily accessible to the region’s award winning boutique wineries, craft breweries and stand out restaurants. The Granite Belt has all the right ingredients for food and wine indulgence in front of roaring open fires. Girraween means “place of flowers” and the best time to visit, is just in spring, when the flora is at its most prolific. In summer, you can expect temperatures to be 10 degrees, on average cooler than Brisbane. Welcome to our backyard, where the only thing you need to do is slow down, breathe deep and experience the essence of country life.



Getting Around:

Girraween Country Inn is 8 kms from Ballandean and 20kms from Stanthorpe. We are on the Granite Belt Highlands Scenic Drive, between Stanthorpe and Ballandean. Direct access to the Girrawen National Park.

The Ginyard in next door and we are surrounded by wineries in Eukey Road.



Other Things to Note:

Parking on the Grass next to the Inn. Otherwise you can park under the shed where the EV Chargers are located. Parking is plentiful and free of charge.



Interaction with Guests:

There are 3 holiday rental properties on the 42 acres.

Please respect each others privacy.

Each has their own seperate space and entrance, however parking spaces are shared and plentiful and more than you will require.
