The overall experience was good. It could use some updates. It’s basically a hotel room with a mini kitchen area . Beds were just ok. With metal headboards not attached. We had to buy our own skillet . The two in the room were rusted to the point of no use. The room was clean and ppl were nice. The over all facility just needs a facelift . The host was very quick to respond with any questions . Good location and close to the pier . We had a good mini vacay at the beach.

I was not very happy with the room. Pictures on VRBO did not fully cover the room. Nothing was added to the room for the quests. No plates, bowls, cooking utensils. Back kept falling off the tv remote, toilet seat was loose. Refrigerator door gasket does close tight. Had to sweep floor, covered with sand from prior guest.

Very enjoyable

Had a rough start, but the room has a good view. The Evolve team and the owners went out of their way for us to make things right that weren't and that was appreciated.The resort has a small convenience store, ample parking, River City restaurant was pretty good inside the resort. Beach is super easy to access and get to.I will most definitely be staying here again next year if the opportunity presents itself.

Terrible experience

The room is located directly over the trash dock of the hotel. Obviously you smell trash while sitting on the balcony. The hotel staff are constantly throwing bottles and cans in the metal dumpster keeping you up most of the night. I killed 2 roaches in the room. Only half of the outlets worked in the unit. The refrigerator door doesn’t seal so you have to be careful to not lose food. You pretty much need to pack up your entire house to have the things you need if you stay here. No utensils, no toilet paper, no soap. Been going to MB for over 40 years. Worst stay I ever had. I do not reccomend.

Owner Feedback: "Ryan, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I'm sorry to hear about the noise you experienced with the trash removal. We will speak with the HOA about this. As for the palmetto bugs, I'm sorry you saw a few. I assure you we have a professional exterminator that sprays on a schedule, but unfortunately, after we get heavy rain down here in the South, it's common for a few to make their way inside. As for the outlets, they are working properly. Two of the outlets operate with a switch on the wall, but we will make sure to label this better to call attention to it. As for the amenities, we went back and looked at the cleaning photos from the day of your check-in, and verified all amenities were present (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, dish soap, etc.) We also verified the utensils were present, including silverware and cooking utensils. We are having the refrigerator looked at, so thank you for bringing that to our attention. I'm sad I didn't hear from you during your stay so we could address any concerns you had while you were staying with us. This is why I always make sure to personally text each guest to ensure you have my phone number. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!”
