I appreciate your feedback regarding the pool temperature. During the winter months here in Florida, cooler nighttime temperatures can significantly impact the effectiveness of heat pumps, as they rely on ambient air temperature. When nights are colder, the system may run continuously but still struggle to maintain higher water temperatures. We did have the pool service company out several times to inspect the system during your stay, and they confirmed that the heat pump was operating properly and that there were no issues with the equipment. We’re pleased you enjoyed the home, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. We’d like to clarify a few points regarding the pool heating: -A few days into your stay, you contacted the guest contact about pool heating and were informed that payment must be made through Evolve before activation. Once confirmed, the heat was promptly turned on and set to the maximum of 85°F, as stated in our listing. Pool heating is not immediate and can take up to 24 hours or longer during cooler nights to reach the desired temperature -We understand you contacted Vrbo; however, neither the guest contact nor Evolve received any follow-up communication about the pool temperature. We take guest experience seriously, respond promptly to all communication, and encourage guests to reach out directly to Evolve or the guest contact so we can address concerns as quickly as possible to help ensure the best experience Thank you for your feedback as we continue working to improve the guest experience

We do want to clarify one point should you ever travel to the area again. While the town may not feel like a traditional beachfront destination, it actually sits right along the beautiful Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. There’s also a lovely local beach, Apollo Beach Preserve, just a quick 5-minute drive away which is a peaceful spot to enjoy the water and stunning sunsets. We also truly appreciate your suggestion about adding grab bars in the shower. That’s very helpful feedback, especially for guests traveling with older family members, and we’ll definitely take it into consideration as we continue to improve the home.
