Vicky, thank you for your 4-star review! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the comfort of the home and the relaxing space by the lanai and canal dock. It's wonderful that you were able to take full advantage of the beautiful setting. Regarding the book, it was shipped to the home after your stay ended a month ago. As outlined in the rental agreement, there is a clause regarding lost and found items, which also covers situations where items are shipped to the home after departure. This includes an admin fee for retrieving and shipping such items. The $25 fee helps cover the time and costs for our staff to retrieve the items, drive to the post office, and ship it to you. While we understand this may be inconvenient, we believe it's a reasonable fee, as it's not an expected expense for us to absorb. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to welcome you back in the future! Best Regards, Valarie

Cris thank you for your review of our SeaStone home. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the kitchen, bathrooms & we appreciate your comments about the overall home. We would like to address the concerns you mentioned regarding the pool heating. You called us after being at the property for a week, initially stating you'd think about it & called back several days later to add the pool heating. Unfortunately, during that time we did experience unseasonably cold temperatures, which affected the pool temperature. As explained in our listing description, pool heaters transfer heat from the air to the water & don't generate heat like an indoor heater. This is common knowledge & disclosed in our listing. We received your next call 13 days later, which was 23 days into your 28-night stay. If the pool heater wasn't functioning, it's unlikely you would have waited that long to report the issue. We did send a technician to check the heater. Our listing also asks guests to disclose if they’re traveling with pets as there is a pet fee. You did not book with pets but brought one without paying the pet fee. Our cleaner needed additional time to clean up after your pet. Regarding the patio furniture, our listing photos show what is provided & we don’t advertise lounge chairs. Finally, our home is about 5.5 miles from the nearest beach, which is noted in the listing. We make every effort to provide accurate details in our listing for guest to review before booking. Best, Valarie
