The place was perfect for our visit to DC. We were able to help our son pack up and to park his truck. The help in parking was really appreciated. The place was wonderfully clean and communications were great.

We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment was clean and well-stocked. Having a full kitchen and washer/dryer was very convenient, and the parking space came in very handy. Great location near lots of restaurants and within walking distance of the metro. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean and in a safe neighborhood and having a parking space is a major perk! It is in a basement, but the owners upstairs were so quiet we hardly noticed they were there. We enjoyed walking to restaurants in the area. The managing company was quick to respond to questions during our stay.

Perfect stay

Overall this place was perfect for the 2 nights we visited. Check in was a breeze, the management company was very helpful and responsive, unit was clean & comfortable, and the family upstairs is very kind & respectful. 5/5 would recommend for anybody searching & we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay!

The location was perfect, the facilities couldn’t have been better! We met the owner soon after checking in; he wanted to know if there was anything he could do to make our stay even better. We highly recommend staying here!

Cherry Bloom Vacation

Updated, clean, quiet one bedroom with off street parking was exactly what we wanted. Also, the kitchen did not disappoint with full size refrigerator and all the dishes/pots/pans/utensils necessary to prepare an eat-in meal. The nearby Trader Joe's with free parking was a bonus.Thanks to the owners of this outstanding property.

Many good things and one important note: the apartment has a beautiful, updated kitchen and bathroom, a comfy leather couch and other nice furnishings, and is well-located to restaurants, cafes and the metro. It is below ground-level, a basement apartment, so if you have asthma or allergies (as I do), this may not work well for you.

Simple and easy

Small but nice place that worked for me. I was in town for work and this place was just right. Located near a lot of restaurants. I was tight physical getting into the place but you make it work.

Enjoying City Life

The English basement apartment was the perfect location for me to visit my daughter, walk the neighborhoods of NW DC, enjoy great restaurants and cafes, and people watch. The unit was impeccable and fully equipped with anything you might want including filtered water, coffee and specialty teas. Check in and check out was easy. Communication was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. I highly recommend!

Superb property in ideal location--I will definitely return!

Newly-renovated apartment in rowhouse near U Street corridor and all of its great restaurants, yet in easy walking distance to Dupont Circle, etc. Although an English basement, it was bright and airy throughout. The bed and bedding were the most comfortable I have encountered in quite some time. The apartment is fully and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. I was there on a 10-day research project and was happy to utilize the kitchen, cooking most of my meals after buying provisions and wine at Trader Joe's, about 1 1/2 blocks away! Also enjoyed dining out at nearby restauarants of note. Parked my car in the offstreet parking space that comes with the apartment and took it out only once the entire stay, as there is so much within an easy walk or metro jaunt. It was my most enjoyable and comforable stay in DC after moving from the area some years back. Cudos to the owner/landlord.

We had a wonderful stay! Check-in went smoothly. The unit is very comfortable and has nicely appointed kitchen, bathroom and living spaces. The location is excellent. The neighborhood is very walkable, even has a Trader Joe's a few minutes away. We had a car so the parking spot was a big bonus. Overall a great value!
