Where will I be?
Serendipity is located at the base of Barrengarry Mountain, overlooking the beautiful Kangaroo Valley escarpment on a private 2.5 acre block. It is only a 5-10 minute drive from the centre of Kangaroo Valley village, and just 30 minutes to the Southern Highlands.

Stylishly furnished and finished to high standards, Serendipity is perfect for a group of friends or a family wanting a luxe getaway. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing gourmet dinners, but the home is close enough to the village that eating out is an option if preferred! Already finished to a high standard, Serendipity is undergoing renovations in 2024 that will only make the property better!
How is the property laid out?
The home is made up of three pods all connected by floor to ceiling glass breezeways and polished concrete flooring. The first pod is the master bedroom suite with a large built-in wardrobe and spacious ensuite that has a beautiful bath, separate shower and toilet.
The central pod has a generous living and dining area divided by a two-way open fireplace and an entertainer's kitchen with an island bench, two dishwashers, two ovens and a Nespresso coffee machine - perfect for entertaining guests! The living area has floor to ceiling bifold glass doors that open out to the entertaining area overlooking the swimming pool.
The third pod boasts 3 more large bedrooms, all with queen beds and their own private ensuites with a shower and toilet. Each bedroom has private French doors that open onto the deck with views of the gardens and escarpment.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.
Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
The large deck overlooks the beautiful pool area, the rolling green lawns near the house and you can enjoy the special escarpment views Kangaroo Valley is famous for. There is an outdoor dining table that can seat eight, and comfortable lounges that are perfect for relaxing. Renovations throughout 2024 will include the following upgrades to the outdoor areas of this already luxurious property;

Staying warm or keeping cool?
The home has reverse cycle air conditioning to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter, as well as an open fireplace in the lounge.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Serendipity supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Serendipity has open air parking for 4 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
