Escape your everyday and immerse yourself in the rural centre of Kangaroo Valley but know you are only 2.5 km from the village and all that it has to offer - cafes, fresh bread & coffee, general store, antiques & old wares, canoe hire and the Pub - that’s if you can drag yourself away from the open fires, expansive rural vistas & the stunning escarpment, and the ever changing light & sky.
Large & stylish,the property is perfect for friends and family gatherings. However it it cozy enough for a couple or family getaway.
All bedrooms have views. Bedroom Set Up (8 persons):
Master Suite - King bed with ensuite and bath (open to bedroom) - large window to eastern valley
Bedroom 2 - King bed or two single beds with ensuite - large window to escarpments
Bedroom 3 - King bed or two single beds - window looking out to eastern Valley
Bedroom 4 - Two single beds - window to western paddocks
We recommend the house for 8 adults and 2 children as there are 4 bedrooms and permanent beds for 8 people. There are two single fold out beds that can be used for two additional guests (linen and towels are provided). We leave these for the guests to place where suits best.
Linen and towels are provided. Luxurybody wash, shampoo and conditioner, and a hairdryer arein each bathroom. There are baths in the main bathroom and master ensuite.
The two separate living areas are large enough for everyone to be together but also provide separate entertainment environments. The main living area includes a dining table that comfortably seats 10, a stunning fireplace, extensive floor to ceiling windows, large lounges, TV and incredible views. This room is a pleasure no matter what the weather. The second living area has books, many board games, outdoor games,TV and Lego.
The well equipped kitchen is an absolute pleasure to cook in, featuringa large 90cm gas stove, 90cm oven, dishwasher, large fridge, bar fridge, Nespresso pod machine, rice cooker, sandwich press, Chasseur French Oven and extensive cookware. There is glassware and plate ware for up to 12 guests. The central island bench in the kitchen is where everyone loves to gather. There are up to 10 stools and gorgeous views. Most guests plan to spend most of their meals at the house as it's hard to leave once you arrive and the views are better than any restaurant.
Internet access is provided and isgenerally excellent. It's a fabulous place to work from!
The outdoor deck area has breathtaking views and includes a gas BBQ, smoker, fire pit and outdoor dining table. The large lawns are suitable for games and the house has yoga mats,croquet, quoits, jenga and bocce sets. There is a large trampoline (netted). Great river swimming is located 1km from the property (there are many great river swimming locations in the valley) and swimming towels are provided.
The footpath from Kangaroo Valley village finishes at the property driveway enabling a flat walk or cycle to town (2.5kms to village centre). The house is surrounded by farms offering uninterrupted views.

Animals on the property include chickens and cows. You are welcome to enjoy the fresh eggs from the chicken coop.
