The Space:

Step inside this bright, coastal-inspired home and be greeted by an open-plan living area filled with natural light. Lounge on the cosy couch while watching a movie on the smart TV, or enjoy quiet moments with the books and board games provided. Two of the three bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry, and a separate toilet branch off from the living space. The entire main house features ducted air-conditioning, keeping it cool and comfortable all year round.



Bedroom one (master bedroom): King bed, plenty of wardrobe space, and airy windows inviting in the gentle sea breezes.



Bedroom two: Queen bed, tasteful decor, occasional chair, and wardrobe storage.



The open-plan kitchen and dining area flows seamlessly onto the outdoor deck, ideal for alfresco dining and entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances including an oversized Smeg oven and gas cook top, utensils, and a serving window, making cooking for large groups a breeze. The deck and backyard offer a serene setting for morning coffee, sunset drinks, or a family barbecue, while children and pets enjoy the secure, leafy yard.



The separate kids retreat studio sleeps six with two sets of bunk beds and two trundle beds. This fun and private space features a kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, and sink, plus arts and crafts supplies, games, books, a dining table, and a TV. The split bathroom (shower & vanity, separate toilet) ensures convenience for everyone. Kids (and teens!) will adore having their own air-conditioned retreat for fun and relaxation.



The coastal location of the home provides endless opportunities for beach swims, sandcastle building and sunset strolls. The outdoor shower located down the side of the home provides the perfect place to easily rinse off after any of these activities.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage. There is free street parking available for any cars you may have.



The Neighborhood:

This leafy, sunlit beach house is located just 150 metres from Moffat Beach. Moffat Beach in Caloundra has a distinct vibe that differentiates it from its more famous neighbours like Kings Beach & Dicky Beach. While Moffat isn’t a patrolled beach & you’ll need to be wary of the waves, the inlet of Tooway Creek offers family-friendly swimming. Dicky beach is an easy stroll across the sand for patrolled swimming between the flags. All throughout the area you will find upbeat shops and cafes, plenty within walking distance of the house.



Getting Around:

The closest beach (Moffat Beach) is 150m away (3-minute walk) and is great for a beach-walk, surfing, kite surfing or paddle boarding. The home is central to lots of activities and attractions:

Maroochydore airport is a 25-minute drive

- Brisbane airport is a 60-minute drive

- Australia Zoo is a 25-minute drive

- Kawana Shopping World & Cinema is a 15-minute drive

- Large new Sunshine Coast University hospital is a 10-minute drive

- Mooloolaba/ Underwater World (Sea Life) is a 15-minute drive

- Downtown Caloundra is a 5-minute drive

A 30-minute car trip will take you to Maleny, Montville, Kondalilla Waterfalls, or Noosa National Park, the Sunshine Coast has plenty to explore!



Airport shuttles can get you there from both Brisbane and Maroochydore. It is possible to get around on the local buses and use coach tours but the immediate area is best explored on foot and it would be preferable to have a car to travel further afield.

*No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)



*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.



*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.
