All the comforts of home
We stayed just over two weeks and the home was very clean, comfortable, beautiful and spacious for our family group of 6. We enjoyed the large sunny deck, especially in the mornings, and I wish I could have taken it home with me, LOL. The house felt so inviting, well decorated and very comfortable furniture, and it was probably the cleanest vacation rental we have ever seen! We could tell the owner takes pride in his home, and the lawn care people came faithfully once a week. The kitchen had almost everything you could want, even for baking, though we kind of missed having a regular coffee maker (we are not the type to figure out the espresso machine or french press...) The kids loved the ping pong and foosball, and also perusing the hundreds of books on the shelf (this made it so homey!).
My only cons would be that we did not get sent checkout instructions until the morning we left, and did not actually check our messages until we had left, so unfortunately we did not do everything according to instructions (sorry!). Many other places have the instructions on paper somewhere in the home...this may be something to consider. The other con might be location, since it was 20-50 min to get to some of the attractions in Winnipeg, but I would trade that for the benefits of the quality/comfort of the home and the safe/quiet location.
Anyway, we would definitely stay here again next time we are visiting family... Thanks for opening your home to us!
