Boasting a full-sized kitchen with all of the mod cons, a huge bedroom with queen size bed, slow combustion fireplace, massage chair, air con, ceiling fans, laundry facilities, a second bedroom with a double bed, fire pit, paved BBQ area, private outdoor claw foot bath, karaoke machine, private entrance and off-street parking. Enjoy the complimentary full breakfast filled with local produce.

The property has been lovingly renovated by the owners to ensure that visitors experience the quality and comfort they deserve.

Everything was absolutely perfect. We especially loved the handwritten note, the love lock, the sparkling wine, and the delicious fresh bread and cheese platter. We came here to celebrate our wedding, and it made the occasion even more special. We’ll definitely be back!

This was a truly wonderful stay, the Brekky options provided was incredible! And fresh bread! The cottage had everything covered and super comfortable for two couples, plenty of room to relax. Lovely sitting under the oak and feeding the critters! Tracie provided us with all the inside info for best places to visit, eat and shop! Hahndorf is a wonderful region to spend a few days. Really hope to return one day! Thank you for a much needed retreat!

A cute cottage with a large amount of local produce supplied for breakfast. It felt very secluded, but it is only a 10-minute drive from both Hahndorf and Mt Barker.

The Hahndorf Providence Cottage was an absolute delight. It was so quiet & peaceful, had a lovely outdoor area fully enclosed to keep our fur-baby safe and the cottage itself had everything you could ask for! The hosts were terrific and we’ll be coming back again - can’t wait!

So much thought has been put into this property. Everything you could possibly need is provided including dog bowls, treats and covers for the furniture. Breakfast supplies were incredibly generous. The property was absolutely beautiful. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Loved the extra details such as the freshly baked bread, the dog treats and dog bedding. I think our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did. Woke up the first morning to the llama at our window, that was a great surprise. Wonderful cottage, everything catered for

What a wonderful cottage, nice quiet spot just outside Hahndorf, everything catered for with a huge breakfast spread, and some cute neighbours (alpaca, sheep and pony). Such a lovely place.

Very cosy stay in beautiful surrounds

We had a very relaxing stay. Our hosts were exceedingly thoughtful and provided us with some awesome local tastes for our breakfast. We enjoyed the fireplace very much, as we stayed in winter. And our pup was very at home and enjoyed running around the paddocks.

Brilliant ambience … perfect place to relax.

We are actually loathe to share how lovely the Providence Cottage is because we want to stay again, and again. Great hosts, lovely, lovely cottage with everything thought of. Very generous food and drink offerings and now the option of purchasing pre-pared meals. We opted for this and were impressed by quality, cost and generous portions. Genuinely 5 star!

Hahndorf Providence Cottage started life as stables and later became a working dairy. The walls in the main bedroom are thick to keep that room cool as the milk was picked up from there each day. We took 12 months to convert it from a run down shack to something we are very proud to share. A fabulous array of breakfast supplies are provided for your stay as well as a complimentary bottle of wine, port and chocolates. We can provide delicious chef premade meals for
your stay as well as gourmet platters. We love having dogs stay and leave treats and furniture covers for your furry friends. We are also able to care for your pets if you need to go out without them. There is a massage chair as well as a karaoke machine for you to enjoy.
