The host did not resolve a single issue of those we reported. Upon check in there was no wifi. We spent the first two hours of our stay on the phone trouble shooting to no avail. The host claimed there was a major outage on the neighborhood. All weekend we asked for updates. The story changed to there was a major outage in the building. After 3 days of no wifi still, I asked the building manager who literally laughed in my face. He said - oh that unit, there are always problems with the wifi there. The problem is with the owner. There is no wifi outage in the building and no problem with the equipment. I reported this back to the host who continued to insist it was out of their control and the issue had become that the wifi router was not an easy type to replace. A technician would be coming they said. For the entire three weeks of our trip no technician came and there was no wifi. We had to pay out of pocket for 5G ESims for 21 days and try to hotspot two laptops from one phone for 4-5 hours a day. My son did not finish his grade 12 course on time and I lost thousands in wages due to this issue as I do research contract online. The wifi was essential to our work and unbelievably the host did nothing to help us at all to get wifi restored. Other issues I reported with no response; (1) no egg flipper!! (2) no sharp paring knife (3) only one small pot had a lid. Cooking kit was terrible quality overall. 4) Broken handles on balcony doors (5) swarms of ants on kitchen counters .
