Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re so pleased to hear you had a wonderful family weekend away and enjoyed the location, comfort and how well-equipped the property is — it really is a great base for exploring the area. We also genuinely appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the shutters, windows and fly screens. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we’re sorry to hear this impacted your experience. We have since raised this with our cleaning team and arranged for these areas to receive a more detailed and thorough clean. Hi Lilian, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very pleased to hear you enjoyed the location and the quiet setting, as well as the outdoor space for the children. However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding the cleanliness concerns raised. When you contacted our office, you advised that the doona cover was not clean, and no further specific details were provided at that time. Our team arranged for the cleaner to attend the property promptly to address this, which we understand was resolved during your stay. Had more detailed information been provided during the initial call, we would have ensured the cleaner attended fully prepared with replacement items, including a new doona insert if required. No additional concerns regarding cleanliness were raised with our office during your stay. As always, we strongly encourage guests to report any issues as soon as possible so they can be promptly rectified—our team and cleaners are always available to attend and resolve matters quickly when given the opportunity. For your reassurance, the property has recently undergone a thorough spring clean, and we continue to monitor and maintain our cleaning standards closely. We do appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that, aside from these concerns, you had an overall enjoyable stay. Stay Port Stephens Team
